You should just be able to go to StepMania's Program folder and unzip all the sims you download in a seperate folder inside the Songs folder. For example, I don't have a Mac, but on my PC, I can go under Start, go to StepMania, and click Go to StepMania Program Folder. But it may be different for you. It depends.

Well...i did try making a new folder on my desktop then i got a simfile (mission impossible theme).
So i put the mission impossible theme inside that folder, then put that folder (named step mania music) into the step mania folder, and then into the song folder inside step mania.
It just sits inside there so then i just go to step mania, but when im inside the game it says 0 songs installed...
Maybe i need to unzip like you said, but the problem is i don't know how to unzip.
Tell me please.

Oh! nevermind the unzip it all of a sudden worked.
Maybe i was doing something wrong before.
Thanks Tassalfoot but i think it auto unzips it when i download it anyways, i never noticed that was what stuffit expander was doing.
By the way why is step mania so ssssslllllooooowwwww?

Can anyone tell me how to get the simfiles to work? Like I download them, then what? Coz Children of Bodom is my favourite band and I saw that there was a simfile for one of their songs and I wanna give it a go. Also I noticed my sig isnt working, but it says BBCode is on, and thats the same code I used on another site and it works fine. Any ideas?

I know this is off the subject,
but wer did u get the Children Of Bodom songs?

Hello! I'm a noob here obviously, but I'm not new to forums. I have a simple question. When I get into the FFR game and load everything up, the song doesn't start. Let me mention that I still have dial-up.... -_-

the song you want to play does load up, showing 100%? not sure what you should do if it is getting stuck on 100%.... i'd try clearing your cache, or using a different browser.

It may depend on your browser. If you use FireFox, then that isn't very good, as, for some VERY ODD REASON, FireFox cannot handle FFR as well as Internet Explorer can. So, if you're having issues with the song not starting, try using Internet Explorer, and you can also check and make sure you have the latest version of Flash installed, which would be Adobe Flash Player 9.

Well, how about that. Way to go guys! Yeah, I'm using Firefox, and unfortunately I think I deleted IE cause it was stupid. I'll check about that Adobe thing. Thanks!

Ok. I looked through the forums quickley but I didn't see this question asked anywhere. What does the "Secret Code" do? I accidently hit home in a game and it popped up. I tryed to type in there but it wouldn't let me. So what does it do, and sorry if someone has posted this already.

uh just wondering, why are the arrows different colours? I;ve noticed the harder the song the more colours there are.
