If I were deaf, that would be the end of my music carrer thus, no more The Fat's Sabobah. Plus, Mozart was deaf and that didnt stop him from being one of the greatest composers ever. However there is no way to fix deafness.
If I were blind, that would be the end of my art carrer and possibly future (since I want to become a game designer and/or animator). But there are experimental processes to fix blindness. I read about it, plus I have learned to draw without looking at the paper as much.Comment

Mozart was not deaf. Check up on your dead musicians. I believe it was Beethoven.
Anyway, I'd rather be blind, simply because my mother is deaf. I don't think you guys understand that being deaf severely impairs your ability to learn most of the time. My mother gets things like "mushroom" and "marshmallow" confused... she calls sandwich meat "sandwich's meats" and calls kitty litter "cat's litter". She is also a very unreasonable person. She doesn't understand most things. She can't do basic math (squared, square roots... she doesn't know what those buttons mean on a calculator). It's as though she never progressed past grade 2 - although I know she did. She went to a deaf school, and those schools get TONS of money just for being a school for the impaired.
Don't even get me started on my computers. Many people joke that their parents don't even know how to turn one on, but my mother LITERALLY doesn't know how, and she's seen us do it plenty of times.
She has a thing called a TTY machine (or is that TTR, I always forget...), right. She uses it to talk on the phone to people who also have one. Basically it's sending text over the phone. The TTR is the reciever and the sender of text messages over the phone. It's like a big keyboard with a little display up top.
So anyway, she obviously knows how to use it. She can type at least 100 WPM on that. BUT! BUT! When she tries to use the computer keyboard (which is identical in layout), she stumbles... uses two fingers... doesn't know what to do. Pecks at the keys. Doesn't understand the backspace button, even though her TTR/TTY thing has a backspace as well. And it's in the same freaking spot.
Basically, most deaf people are pretty dumb. I'm not saying all, but most are. My mom has deaf friends. None of them are intelligent in the least.
So, having lived with a deaf person my entire life, I can tell you. You would not want to be deaf. Ever.
I would rather be blind, even though I am an artist and I'd miss out on that. I don't want to be like my mom. I hate her.
---
Of course, all this stuff is only for people who are born deaf because of a dysfunction in the ear or someodd stuff. I'm sure it's different for people who had an accident or developed it over time. My mom has been deaf her entire life.
Edit: I'm sorry and I didn't mean to have offended anyone... I didn't read this entire thread until now and I didn't realize we had a deaf person here.
Just to clarify: I never said that all deaf people are stupid. Just a lot of them, or at least every single one that I've ever met. They're all a lot like my mother. Disabled in learning. Oops wait... no, my aunt is mostly-deaf (she can kind-of hear) and she's perfectly fine. So yeah.C is for Charisma, it's why people think I'm great! I make my friends all laugh and smile and never want to hate!Comment

To the first question, deaf. Obviously. I mean comon, if you were blind, you wouldn't get to see any girls or anything. Although deaf would mean no more dj weazel which some people would be happy but its still better than walking around not knowing whats in front of you.
The second question, dangerously underweight. If you were dangerously overwieght, somtimes people might talk behind your back or make fun of you, and you wouldn't be able to move around much. Plus it's like Takisho said, "It's easier to gain than lose"
