At the risk of angering any lurking Devonins and proceeding to drown in a torrent of logic and reason, I have this to say:

The original question is whether or not Tass is deserving of being awarded the title of FFR Legend. Given his numerous achievements and the amount of work he did to make the site what it was before the crash, the general consensus (as determined by the poll numbers so far) is that the answer is "yes, he is deserving." Whether or not he cares about actually receiving it or not, or whether he will ever receive that honor, is an unrelated issue.

I still stand by the statement that this is an honorable reward given in memory of the things people have done for this site. Regardless of the person's interest in it and regardless of what happened with his leaving in the past, I feel that Tass has provided a lot for this community and is deserving of the recognition. Even if you think he was an utter asshole while he was here you can't deny that he kept FFR afloat basically, running events and contests to keep interests high.

You guys also have to realize this is a Legend status for those that we are remembering their skill or what they did for the community. Unless the person is against the idea, there is no reason why anyone the community agrees on shouldn't get the title. Tass's bad doesn't outweigh his good unless you are butthurt and being totally self centered because of something Tass may have had against you.

I'm not trying to attack those who voted no by any means, I just feel like a lot of those that did are downplaying what he did for this site in Synth's absence. That's like saying Velo should never get it because he's a butt sometimes (<3 ya Velo, nothing personal by any means) and is lazy. So what? He's done a helluva a lot for the site too, maybe some day he will earn Legend status.

This is a prestigious award, yes, but there is no good reason imo to withhold it from someone as deserving as Tass just because of a handful of bad things that happened so long ago.

Hell yes tass does.



Tass didn't leave because he didn't love working here, he left because of the entire corporate issue as a whole. His work to this day will always be remembered.

I vote yes. How can you not? He did the absolute best with what he had. Now he has moved on and found a niche familiar to his heart. You have to be happy for the man.

Tass definitely deserves Legend Status, with all the work and dedication he's put into FFR. I guess TS was proposed and created because nobody saw FFR returning; nobody can blame him for that.
