What does him leaving have to do with anything? I'm not sure where this argument is coming from. When great people retire from something, do you also go "Well **** that guy, he's not doing what he was awesome at anymore! Let's stop caring about him."
Tass could be a jerk, but he had a lot on his plate here at FFR and handled it like a champ, doing a better job than damn near anyone else would in his position. The community as a whole owes a lot to him, even if they don't actually realize it.
Moral of the story, he could have told the whole planet to go **** itself, but it wouldn't detract from what he's already done.
100% deserving.

Ok. So 2 people (Devonin and Awein) reached out to me about this. And now I've read the thread.
Before today, I had never heard of FFR Legend, and still am not familiar with whom it has been given. But based on what's been said in the thread, it does appear to be quite prestigious. So, for that, if you do decide to bestow it upon me... I would be honored.
Devonin asked me whether or not I cared about receiving it... and, in the end, it doesn't really matter to me. I only visit the site when something involving me happens (and people bring it to my attention). But, as others pointed out... assigning the rank to me isn't about me, it's about the site and the history. I'll be fine no matter what you guys do.
Also, it makes me smile a bit to see how many of you say you hated me a few years ago. Reminds me of the Batman line (as opposed to a Ganondorf parallel) about dying as a hero or living long enough to see yourself become the villian. All I can say is that I did the best I could to keep the site functioning and growing during the 3 years it was mine to run... and showing lots of tough love was part of it.
I definitely don't hate FFR, the community, Synth, or anyone really. And starting ThirdStyle had nothing to do with competing with FFR since we started it when FFR was down. I wish all of you guys the best and have nothing but love for this site. I spent every day of my life for 6 years here.
Guess I already ruined that whole, "I won't be posting anymore" thing I said in the Tell v3 AAA thread.RIPComment
