I don't fully understand the point in taking honors and/or gifted classes in highschool. I don't feel like colleges really give a shit and neither do employers. I guess maybe there is some weighted gpa crap that you can't achieve otherwise. Scholarships etc...

It matters more depending on the level tier school you apply to. The more selective the school, the harder classes you need to take on to remain competitive.

Speaking of schools, I'm not sure whether I should pursue a Masters degree on CS. Currently I'm inclined to not getting it, because I don't really find studying fun :P

I'm getting close to the same point. I'm thinking just seeking for a job would be more beneficial. 2 years of work experience + income vs 2 years of school and massive expenses...

the class difficulties in my school go CP -> honors -> gifted -> AP (dont know if thats standard or not

AP US history: 91
Gifted pre-calculus: 76 (hate math)
Honors physics: 91
Honors senior LA: 82
GYM: 100 lol wat
Advanced band: 100

Not doing so well than I should be in high school (can't catch up on sleep which is affecting me from schoolwork).

Progress reports came out about a week ago:

Drafting I / 90.4% / B
Biology / 81.4% / C (-_- I should really be doing a lot better)
Visual Arts I / 77.6% / C (Reason: Need to finish 1 art project and make 1 look better)
English II / 60.6% / F (Reason: Missing journal prompts (that count 20%), and other work that needs to be made up)

I can't wait for the classes I'll be taking in my junior year though, they are:

Geometry
Physical Science
U.S. History
English III
Geography
Principles of Business and Finance
Multimedia and Web Page Design
Team Sports (again because physical education is great)

Really wanted to take Pre-Calculus in that year but my guidance counselor didn't mention it to me when she was putting me down for classes I would be taking (I had that down as an alternative -_-).

might as well now. junior year schedule:
-apush (once again, scared. but i think i'll be fine)
-ap lit (gonna be the best thing ever)
-ap music theory (no clue. as haughty as it sounds, if there's anyone in my school who can take this class, it's me, but supposedly this shit is ****ing hard.)
-calc (was going to take AP but i just really ****ing hate math honestly and it would probably be too much)
-physics (i should probably take honors but the teacher who teaches it (who is amazing) thinks i shouldn't because it would be too much and stuff)
-concert band (i MIGHT have to drop this for scheduling issues. which would suck.)
-chinese III (easiest shit.)
-health (required, but for sophomore year. i couldn't take it this year because of scheduling so i have to take it with a bunch of now-freshmen. going to kill myself. that is not a joke)

anyone have any advice on any of these classes (any any any)

It depends on what you want to apply to.

If you're seriously interested in medicine, dentistry, law, or high end masters/ph.d graduate programs, GPA matters. It matters more than anything else, in some cases.

If you're not interested in any of these things, it probably doesn't matter at all.

He's right. Thank God I went for a liberal arts degree. No one gives a damn about them.

I managed to miss my MS Office final and still came out with a B-, raising my total GPA to 2.04.

In high school I took German. Though the report card printed out a 68 for the quarter, I actually had earned a 4. Four. Out of 100. For the tests, I would fold them into paper airplanes and hurl them.
