I mean, im a big videogame player and i waste my life playing COD on weekends but i mean idk i get so much shizz for playing blackops :/ ppl always say how much better COD 4 is or ModernWarefare 2. Are the olds ones really the best?

Personally I can't stand Black Ops :l. The only reason I got it was to play with my friends and even with them i was having a horrible time with the game, I just put up with it for a couple weeks then went back to MW2

It's almost like an interactive movie. A bad one, at that. The storyline is overplayed as shit: "Hello *insert generic name here*, you are a soldier but now you're a top secret undercover agent that does bad things to bad people. This can all happen in real life, trust us."

The gameplay is, and I may be over-exaggerating, the same as the other CODs. You shoot shit with next to no variance.

Can't really comment on the music because I usually play better music (and better games).

Honestly, FPS's are played out as a genre entirely. Pick up some cool indie games. The reason why they're indie is because the ideas wouldn't make much money when presented to the masses.

Call of Duty 2 was the best out of all of them but as far as modern warfare goes the original was the best. I hated black ops because the first 2 weeks after release on pc it was close to unplayable due to retarded lag spikes. If that wasn't enough it was just a pretty bad gameplay wise aswell. It just seemed way to slow compared to other cod games. Between cod:waw and black ops(both made by treyarch) I won't be buying another call of duty game.

I'm with Asphyx here. Pretty much every FPS game is the same, from Halo to CoD. There's just not a ton of variance.

Indie games usually lack in either depth or length, and are usually just a novelty concept. Not sure how Angry Birds got to be as popular as it is.

I try and stay away from FPS games in general.

yes, modern warfare 2 is by far better than black ops and cod 4 is arguably better than modern warfare 2

It's a total train wreck on PC. I've heard the 360 version is pretty enjoyable, but a lot of FPS games nowadays are catered to the 360 market as a priority and if the developers have time, they fine tune the PS3 version, and then the PC version. Soooo that's no surprise.

Anyway if you like the game, play it. Tell your friends to suck a nut.
