There are pros and cons to each COD individually. I play COD only for the MP experience really and only a little of the campaign. I cant really decide which one I like more and so I am just gonna say I like them all but just not for the same reason.

I love MW2 for its quickscoping, graphics, and better connections, and I love BOs for sorta getting rid of the noobtubing fiasco that was on MW2 and its new unlock system, stats, new ways to earn xp, and its customability (more cammos, face paint, playercard, putting clan tag and emblem on your gun). I loved the zombie maps from WAW the most and I like Ascension for its size but I hate how easy they made Ascension. I could think of MANY ways they could improve zombies.

As for the COD franchise. I prefer MW2 to BlackOps, better maps and more variety.

K no, don't even start.
MLG is a poor gimmick of a league.
GB is even worse.

You need to look at CAL, CPL, WCG and CEVO (which is up and running season 14).
That shit is real. ****ing counterstrike is the most competitive FPS out there, and not to mention, hardest to play. CoD is for tryhards and wannabe pubstars (pubstars are still bad lol)

There's two things I hate about black ops.

1. Too balanced, doesn't make the game addicting like mw2 or cod4. What's the difference between a Famas and an Aug. There is none, no killstreak stacks = no fun.

2. The ping issues, AKA GETTING KILLED THROUGH A ****ING WALL, this makes this game so damn annoying, I seriously rage every time this happens to me, the delay is beyond ****ing annoying.

This game still has way to many bugs to fix out, it seems this is still not even a complete project, in MW2 I could actually GO PRONE FOR COVER WITHOUT DYING.

Doesn't really matter much to me anymore, I quit gaming pretty much anyways.

Black Ops was my first COD game, and I don't really find any major fault with it to be honest, at least as far as multiplayer goes (I don't care for the campaign). I find a minor fault in the scoring system when someone who is 17-22 gets a higher overall score than someone who goes 15-3. Happens to me too much lol.

It seems like a very well balanced game with no overpowered weapons, which is really a blessing (see: noobtubes in MW2 and various other examples). Some of the maps are ass, granted, but some are killer and overall I actually enjoy playing Black Ops. No skin off my back if the rest of you don't like it, I'm going to keep playing.

virus, you need to do more research. Some people have made enough money in competitive gaming, so much that they can live through their entire life without worrying about finances.
Also, I forgot to mention... bragging rights and titles. Pride of their country too.
When people talk about Starcraft in competitive gaming, which country pops up in mind first? Korea.

My point is... competitive gaming is a successful career for one.. but not for all. Same goes with every other career in life.

So stop thinking competitive gaming is shit, nikkuh, get real!

Although some people wouldn't take it as a career but, some people earn a living out of gaming itself.

This.

CS is probably this biggest competitive FPS ever created. Given that it was made so long ago, yet there are still leagues being played today. The tactics in this game require a shit load of skill, due to crouch hopping, bunny hopping, quick scoping, and especially the recoil of every single gun. The learning curve of this game can take a long time to learn, in which most cases people never master it.
