Re: A question for everyone
I haven't played any rhythm games in years, but I still enjoy chilling here and on ffya, though that isn't really a rhythm game community anymore. I'll probably stay until I start thinking of better things to do with my time.

Re: A question for everyone
1) i've been losing interest and probably will stop soon. but want to make it in top 30 or 40 AV rank.
2) Have never stepped anything, but if I do, i might lose interest fast if i get denied mutlple times.
3) until the community is boring and doesn't serve what i'm interested in.10th in 5th Official Tournament in D3

Re: A question for everyone
Seeing how I was busy whoring like 10 different rhythm games 7 years ago, and now I only play Stepmania and Pop'n Music, I did lose interest in playing rhythm games..Comment

Re: A question for everyone
I feel a little thrown by these questions, since they all seem to focus on planning. My own psyche is very much rooted in the present and the short term from day to day, perhaps to an unhealthy extent, and thus I don't feel I can directly answer those questions. I'll say this instead; I don't "plan" to carry on playing the game or creating charts for it: I only do those things when I feel like it, and just happen to find I often will on the occasion. Perhaps it's less to do with personally enjoying the game (even though I do) and more to do with keeping it fresh in mind thanks to engaging with communities and individuals who still play it.Comment

Re: A question for everyone
How long do you plan on playing FFR/Stepmania?:
It is fun to play here and there during college life, but I don't play it nearly as seriously as I used to, and probably won't play it too much once I graduate from college
How long to you plan on stepping files for FFR/Stepmania?:
I used to step for SM back when this site had a Simfile Database, but haven't done anything since then and don't plan to(I did once but it wasn't made to be uploaded online).
How long do you plan on being a part of the rhythm game community on the Internet and if applicable in real life?:
As far as the internet goes, probably only through college as well. I'm sure I'll be playing rhythm games for consoles throughout my life though, even if it turns into simple stuff like Just Dance. "Growing up" doesn't mean you have to quit doing fun stuff.

Re: A question for everyone
how long do you plan on playing ffr/stepmania?
Depends on what lies ahead. I will probably play for various reasons at different times. If I am too busy at the time then its for fun and if I have lots of free time then I play a lot. I would love it if people I knew in real life actually played this game. Everyone I know either sucks at it or just isnt interested
.
how long to you plan on stepping files for ffr/stepmania?
Just started and so I plan on learning on how to improve on it. I love music and its a big part of my life so I will plan on improving to the point where I can get my first file in FFR.
how long do you plan on being a part of the rhythm game community on the internet and if applicable in real life?
Well I have no where to go for that except the YMCAs we have but those suck and no one is good here. I havent played DDR in forever and I would love to play it more but I have no where to go to do that. I will probably be involved with rhytum games for life. Whether it be playing them, or just communicating with others on them.
The almost 4 years I have played FFR have been great and I hope to keep continuing it for as long as I can.Best AAA = Aballava(?) + Serious Shit (97)
Best SDG = Fushigi Usagi Milk Tei 8-0-0-3 (101)
Best Score = do i smile? 3-0-0-3 (100)

Re: A question for everyone
eh...I just don't know, this thread kinda makes me sad. Thinkin' about the future an' all and how most of the coolest guys I ever looked up to on this site will be all but memories.
I guess I'll play until my right hand finally loses all hopes of progressing and actually starts showing signs of getting worse.
I never really was good at stepping. My only goal is to get at least ONE song into a batch and put on FFR. That would fill me with so much pride.
No idea how long I'll last, but I hope it's for a very very long time.Comment
