i read an answer to the chicken or the egg question which actually made alot of sense. a chicken is a chicken. and egg is only a potential chicken. it said something about how you cant exist on potential alone so the chicken had to have come first. it was kind of philosophical but it made sense. i forget where i read it, maybe you can find something on google.

hmm... well... really the egg would of came first... cause.. if you belive in evolution then you would know that it would take a billion years for whatever to evolve into the actual chicken but... it would of hatched first off... so... the egg was first...

HSOK: Look up at the moon. See all those little holes and depressions? Look at cheese. Natural cheese has a grayish color (carrot juice is added to make it more appetizing). Indeed, the moon does look alot like cheese.

Freak83: the chicken, any way you put it, MUST come first. There's a egg cell, which is then fertilized by a male sperm. (official start of "chicken") Then the mother chicken adds a layer of nutirents and the shell to help it in the outside world (official start of "egg") then the mother lays the egg. the chicken always comes first

Yes, and well, no.

Up until the development of Reptiles, all fertilization needed to occur in water, and many organisms(including most plants) practice sexual reproduction.

The specific egg mentioned here is an amniotic egg, and it is important to distinguish it from other eggs..

Think of the amniotic egg as a vessel that allows organisms to fertilize offspring without the need of bodies of water. Otherwise mom and pa would have to hop into a pool for a period of time until your were born, which would limit the spread of life considerably.

Aves(birds), which is an offshoot of Reptilia, took that evolutionary advantage with them, and some mess up of a species shot out a chicken due to mutation, and it got to reproduce and started a new species.

Things get a lot more technical here, so I rather refrain from further explanation.

The freezer presumably is cold and would make the bulb malfunction. The refrigerator wouldn't be as cold and a bulb would work. Also if you want to look in the freezer just open both doors together. It may cost more, but that is waht you pay for luxury.
