Ant in my ear

So. This is the second time that I've woken up to my finger in my ear trying to loosen it up, like theres water in it. Then the scratching sounds start. I shoot straight out of bed and run to the bathroom, trying not to scream from the feeling/sound coming from the inside of my ear that I cannot get to. I start to panic and since it's happened before, I put water in my ear and try sloshing it around and motioning my head downward to push the water/ant out of my ear. My mom comes in and shes like wtf are you doing, because at this point I am crying really hard and smacking my head. This is by far THE worst experience(s) I've been through. My mom insists that it's just water/fluids in my head that are trying to drain, because I've always had problems with that. So like an hour and something goes by of me trying to read about unclogging my ears, and I can feel the water starting to drain out of my head.. the noise lessens and I'm like "ahh.." (It's hard to explain... the noise is like someone is swirling around a wire brush deep in your ear... plus this sick feeling/pain)
And yeah so I guess the water finally gets it out 'cause I'm just casually touching the inside of my ear, and theres the damn dead ant. My ear feels swollen on the inside and is probably getting an infection.
I'm on the verge of just blowing all my money on an exterminator.
Has anyone else had this happen?? XD
P.S. The last time this happened, I slept with ear plugs every night for like 6 months. =.=

I've had lots of bizarre little things like that.. blowtorch fixes everything. :P

My uncle woke up with a fly stuck in his ear and when he poured water into it he listened to it's 'death buzz'. No joke.

Just the thought of **** like this makes me itch and squirm.

Holy ****, I would have freaked out if there was an ant in my ear. I have extreme problems with bugs being on me (not that almost everyone doesn't). But being in my ear? Ahhh. One time there was an ant on the brim of a cup I was drinking out of and pretty much ever since then, I check my glass for ants. Annoying habit, man.

That's really bad. I've heard some sick stories about bugs getting in your ear. I was always so afraid of that happening, and then when it happened to me I was like KILL ME. XD
It makes me feel better taking out my anger on any ant that I find around the house though. >=] HULK SMASH

Ohh, I know what you mean! I have to wash out my cup everytime before I drink water or make tea with it because one time, late at night.. I was thirsting and got a glass of water, so I will it up and start to drink.. and as soon as it hits my mouth I spit it out... spider in my cup. XD UGHHH.

KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN THERE, TOO. LOL. I wake up in the middle of the night frequently because sometimes I get a bit dehydrated and my mouth's dry and all (really annoying) but I sit up and it's pitch black but I know that I always have a glass of water next to my bed, so I pick up the glass to drink it right? Felt something in between my lips when I was drinking and it was a bug. D;>

Ouch, I feel your pain Katie.

I went to a sleepover once and my friend had bugs in his house, they had me sleep on the floor. It's a very scary thing to go through but not as bad as ants in the ears. *pukes*

I mean, like, I'm ok with bugs for the most part. But I really dislike ticks.

I had a dream when I was a kid that it was raining ticks and I was outside and I couldn't get back into my house. It was awesome.

Don't like leeches either.

My sister had hissing cockroaches, and I found them cute. Also she has a tarantula and it doesn't bother me. XD

UGH, yeah! I made that mistake far too often but not anymore, lol. I can never trust a cup in the dark again.

Also, the smell of our ants (in Oregon) WREAK if you smoosh them. It's really odd. It smells worse than poop.
