I don't see pages loading much faster than in FF, really. It looks pretty nice and I like the simplistic UI. FFR runs well, and I don't have any complaints so far, except for the lack of an ad blocker, but I'm sure one will come out soon. I'll keep using it for a while but if there aren't improvements, I'll switch back to FF and maybe try it again after some updates are made.

The browser is pretty good so far. I like the separate processes for the different tabs, but the deal with one tab crashing never bothered me since FF gives me the option to resume the previous session when I restart it.

oh and the scroll speed using my mouse wheel appears to faster than in FF. I need to get used to it.


EDIT: poop, the gif in my sig is playing at a much slower speed in Chrome. -10 points

Wow I loaded your .gif in Firefox and it's like 5x slower ... =(

But the page loads are so fast and the view area is so big. There's a part in their comic that talks about "if you can see right at the content without noticing the browser, then we've done our job."

Well, I can definitely see the content without really noticing the browser, which is amazing.

Well IMO it's complete crap. :/
Looks bad, three ram hungry processes, 7 - 13 second lag spikes in all Flash every 20 seconds or so.

Call me when Chrome 1.0 comes out.

My attitude towards Chrome has been the same as yours. I'm not going to download this until a month later because my friends have already found things they don't like about it and I much rather wait till it's fixed than to put up with the hassle.

FF is plenty good, though I occasionally use Opera, and I'll probably do the same thing with Chrome when the next release is out.

Holy ****, 30 mins ago i downloaded the new google thingy... And when i was done downloading, Everything, like... EVERYTHING froze. My computer turned gay and i couldnt do ****. So i was like: LOLOLOLWAt O_O D: so i decided to restart my computer.

I waited 20 ****ING MINUTES and my computer was still lagging.

I guess my comp doesnt like google x__________x'

This browser is actually pretty cool, I like it ;3
I mainly like how there's no bottom bar unless loading a page, and the top bar is pretty small.

I mean, this is pretty impossible to see this whole thing on any other browser because of how much space it taken up.


Edit: I'm not very internet browser knowing, making this post, I'm realizing there is probably a way to hide the bottom bar on other browsers and other stuff, don't kill meh D:

Edit2: I can't middle click to scroll up/down, I can scroll with it, not click and move the mouse to scroll though =/

Yeah the middle click doesn't work in Chrome i'm sad to say.

You have to keep in mind that this was just recently released. Wait for a month and two and surely it will improve. It's still in beta and has been out for less than a day so don't shoot it down just yet.
