These fires definitely suck for those that have to evacuate. I live on campus where there's only a bunch of smoke in the air, but it's enough to cancel classes.

oh btw were up to 200,000 people evacuated, and all schools were canceled in san diego for tomorrow. the biggest of the 8 fires has burned 20,000+ acres.

250,000 evacuated. seems like there putting a lot of effort into getting people outta the way, but its all like 0% contained.

it's pretty hard to contain a fire fueled by the god damned Santa Ana winds.

and it's going to be 90 degrees tomorrow (October 22, mind you) and smoky, according to the weather channel. what a great forecast.

It's pretty windy in Oxnard because of the fires, and there are ashes everywhere! Many trees are falling down on cars and in my school. This weather is making me get a headache. Even though there are strong winds, I still have school.
