    age issues

    Hi. Long time reader, first time poster.

    I found this in a fitness forum.

    A guy, 22, wants to have sex with a girl who's 16. I'm the dad of a 1 year old daughter. I am worried about her enough as it is, but I cant think of how much I'd worry about this if this was my daughter. I'm angry about this guy doing this, am I right to be angry? What would you do if your daughter was in this situation?

              I don't find too much wrong with it- to me, people can do whatever the heck they want. If a 16 year old gives consent, then that's their own choice. They can make whatever decisions they want; I wouldn't care. You can have your own opinions, you have a right to be worried and upset about this. And to me, a 6 year age difference is not too big of a deal with me. 20 and 45 would. A good portion of my family has age differences of 3 to 10.

                  Well, dewayne isnt that cradle robbing, i think thats illegal, having sex with someone whos way younger than you and is under 18, i think you could call the cops on that..... but yea i'd be angry if i had a young daughter like you too.

                                          And also: You don't know the guy, or the girl, why would you have any emotional interest in the situation to begin with? No you aren't right to be angry because you have nothing to be angry about.
