While parents may be partly to blame, no matter how much you stuff yourself that weight is well beyond what can one normally achieve even if that person really really tries at that age. Parents are to blame but for a different reason. If she was normal she wouldn't be 400 pounds at 7 no matter how spoiling the parents are.

Really I think kids get that fat by their parents coddling their children letting them eat as much of what they want. When your kid reaches 120 lbs at the age that should be an obious sighn to help your child and do what she would really want if sh could comprehend the total serious of her situation. Problem is when you get mobidly obese its almost impossable to lose that weight but really they should take it into derastic mesures and start out by feeding her minimal amounts of food.
