They have to play so many FFR games before posting in the forums.

This has been brought up before, but it never happened, and now, I think it would be a bad idea, for all those people who post here because they can't figure out that they need to clear their cache or whatever, and it won't save their scores. They'd be stuck out. Plus, I don't think all of the playing of FFR I did before I came to these forums made me much of a better poster. However, it would prevent bots.

This probably isn't the best idea, but maybe something on the lines of this:

They have to play so many FFR games before posting in the forums. In the games is where newer players can interact and meet others from the site and get a feel for the game before posting anything. Maybe it will cut out some of the newbie posts as well.

like i said, it's not the best idea, but it's better than nothing.

Not many of the frequents here even play the game anymore.

I think we should just make a forum at the top that says READ THIS BEFORE POSTING and if they click anywhere else before clicking that link, they're just immediately permabanned.

"READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST" in thread titles doesn't really help much. It says it in the PYP thread...we still have people with one post posting their pictures. Not too effective.

from skimming the thread, there's something important I missed.

Though I can recognize stupid pointless threads which I think puts me closer to the safe zone.

Yet I'm terrified of forums.
