I don't think it's THAT, I think it's about how he doesn't get to hang out with them whenever they're out partying. In which case, he needs to learn how to party without taking narcotics or pick up a sport where practices and games will keep him busy.

Oh no, as I've said in my first post, I hang out with everyone, even people I don't like. My real friends understand and respect.

As far as not letting you come goes, what the hell? Being the only sober one makes you extremely hilarious to drunk people. I have experience as the entertaining sober guy, I'm often the only detail that people remember about the parties afterward. Just follow them one day, plug your nose, and have a good time.

My advice is to go meet some cool people who aren't from your school if you find that most people at your school are doing stuff you aren't into. Unless you are in the middle of nowhere, I'm sure you can find some cool people nearby. Just because you go to one school doesn't restrict you from meeting people outside. I encountered a similar problem. My close group of friends drifted apart sophomore year just because it hit us that we are all going to end up splitting when it comes to college. Stupid reason, yes I know, but I guess I cut myself off from them because I know where I want to go. I was depressed for a little, but then I made friends with a ton of cool people outside of my school, people my age and a lot of older people. Just the knowledge that you have people "outside" is comforting, and it really does help with the lonliness and sadness you seem to be experiencing. I, myself, am not into drugs or alcohol either because it is stupid to harm your body in such a horrid way, and because I'm asian and my parents would kill me for it. All I have to say is good luck man, just stick it out and try to enjoy the better things in life.

Depends on the rules, because I have been drunk before. I just don't drink anymore because I didn't like it.

It sounds as if the only people in your world go to your high school. Try going somewhere else to make some friends. If your religious a church youth group is always good for nice/cool people. Maybe the mall or somewhere else. My school has a lot of very snobby and ****y people that I really dont like. Because of this, I have made friends elsewhere. Try to do the same.

It just gets worst and worst. Today was such a bad day. Basically there is a party tonight and everyone is talking about getting drunk and high, it just pisses me off so much. Especially since a few girls that I find rather attractive will be there, and I know they'll be drunk/high, and that's really a turn off.
