The real "problem" is that I don't smoke (that means drugs & cigarettes) nor drink. Never. I hate the taste of alcohol. I hate the smell of weed. I hate the simple fact of consuming a substance that changes your behaviour, legal or not, just for the pleasure. To me it's discusting.

Good.

(I also hate sluts, but that's another story).

I don't drink or smoke either, but I still get invited out. My friends also 'get' me (I got drunk once, hated it) and they give me a heads up if they're going to be doing either activity so I can decline if I want.

Me gots some good friends.

I feel exactly like you verr. I don't like drinking, I don't see the point if it doesn't taste good to me and it annoys me when people get drunk for the sake of getting drunk.

I don't like drugs at all, even normal ciggarette smoke makes me feel sick. I get annoyed with all the drug culture that exists here today as it is only for peoples own pleasure, mind altering and it is not needed at all.
It really annoys me when I see all these drug topics in FFR as I really get enough people bragging about taking drugs offline let alone reading about people taking hard drugs and their excellent experiences and how they love doing it again and again and must tell the forum everytime. I wish people would keep it to themselves or forums made for drugs then I wouldn't have such a problem with it.

Although I don't really have a friends problem but I imagine I will as I get more social.

You do realize that it is ironic that you are talking about what you enjoy doing, and then are annoyed by other people's posts of what they enjoyed doing, just because it's different from your own.

I could very well say, "I wish people would keep not doing drugs and not drinking alcohol to themselves", but I don't because everyone has a right to express what they think is a good time. I don't say drinking is stupid either, even though I hate it, because it is smart to respect the likes and dislikes of other people.

Wow, thanks for the positive responses guys, you don't know how much it's appreciated. I've always tried my best to be friends with everyone (except in the GBin... lol), but I've also always sticked to my basic principles. It's good to see that there actually are some people like me, even though we are few. It seems everyone today is a ****ing depraved that only thinks about smoking and drinking. I can clearly say without any exagerration (sp?) that I die a little bit inside everytime I hear something as stupid as : "Oh dude yesterday we smoked a HUGGEE joint." I just hope my sanity won't degrade over time either.

To everyone: Stick to what you beleive in, even if it's hard (peer pressure is one hell of a bitch), and I swear in the long run it's 100x more gratifying, even if it seems not right now.

Also:

Verruckter, my respect for you has been like multipled 10x. You sincerely are a true man.

Drugs are stupid.
Getting drunk is stupid.
Smoking is stupid.

And I also agree that many beautiful women, both physically and personality-wise, have been lost to the pressures of those substances.

I can tell you I know exactly how you feel, I'm the friendly one of my school that talks to everyone. My school is a party school, parties every weekend and there's also many drunk driving accidents around here. I've never gotten involved in it. I have been invited to the parties though and went, just to see what they were like, not impressed. Yeah it was funny, but after awhile I got concerned for my friends because they were so careless, and I'm a pretty damn caring person, if someone gets hurt I'm right on top of it. It's also nice to know I'm one of those few nice girls that haven't been forced to drink because of social pressures. I don't think I could hold up the standards of a slut anyways.

All I can say to you is stick in there, and stay with your beliefs. There's not many people out there like you that are teenagers. Hopefully when you get to college it won't be too much of a party school.

Nobody should be that protective over it.

I wasn't saying you can't do it I was saying I WISH people wouldn't keep discussing it every topic. Im quite sure it's not that hard to discuss a less illegal hobby.

I also respect the likes and dislikes of people. If theres something you find offensive that I talk about I will stop talking about and hope the other person will respect my likes and dislikes and one of my dislikes happens to be drugs and alcohol. You give a little you get a little.

Yes! Entirely! Most people are just dicks about it and whenever you say you don't smoke or drink, they call you "pussy" or some stupid word like that. It's just totally senseless. I mean, I don't go tell them to not smoke, I don't tell them "Hey, that's bad for you, don't do it." I respect their choice just as much as they should respect mine.
