Eskimokitty, not every cool person is good at FFR. Not everyone that is good at FFR. In fact, I hardly know ANYONE on ANY of the FFR top 10s.

Seniority is usually a respected thing on the forums.

By seniority what exactly do you mean , Building yourself a Reputation early or do you mean having a former joining date because not to seem boastful at all but i've been here earlier then alot of people and i don't think that has anything to do with it. (my old name i won't say because i was 15 when i made that account and looking back on the sn, is kinda embarassing , i just recently made this one after a 6 month withdrawal from ffr)

Look at a few of my first posts. Typical for my age at the time. I was forced into making intelligent posts by the regs here with a "Coherency of Die" attitude, which in the long run has helped me greatly in all areas. The only time I was pissed at the shunning of a new member was Quintesson, the 5 faced posting tiki god guy. I thought it was clever. I sort of view the elitism as joking most of the time. Some people are just too damn sensitive. Which explains all the bull**** subculutre groups we have going around. America needs a ****ing draft the show these pansy-asses what real traumatizing **** is, to toughen them up.

Haha, kind of contradicted my original intent with that rant. Sorry. Just post coherently and contribute to the thread with a meaningful post and you will be respected.

the reason most people are on the forums is because they played FFR at one point of their life pretty hardcore. or atleast enough to draw them to the forums, and then they got addicted to the forums moreso then the game. I used to be pretty ridiculous at FFR and stepmania, but then quit like most others.

By seniority I mean more than one thing. It consists of being around the site for a while and getting to know the members, post count is a small part, and having a reputation so if someone says your name they don't have to go search for who you are. Something along the lines of that.

I was pretty dreadful when i first played, I wonder if you guys who are like amazingly good, are your skills instinctive or did you have to work to get as great as you are. I had to work for everything seeing as i'm blind in one eye(not officially but like 20-10 instead of 20-20) and it takes a longer time for me to process the direction in which the arrows are coming from. I'm not horrible i can get a pretty decent score but compared to like crazy good people im just mediocre ...but that would be a different topic, sorry for the long replies sometimes i just get diarrhea of the mouth =)

I don't even play SM or FFR anymore. Lack of good computer to play it on, really. Plus, I find myself spending more and more time away from the forums. I dunno, I started to hang out with people more. I used to be just mean on the internet, now i'm mean irl too. Not MEAN but just sarcastic...and people who can't take my jokes think i'm mean (sound familiar?)

I have a feeling if I met most of the FFR regulars, i'd think they were losers and have completely different impressions of them after meeting them. People put on false appearances online. Whatever. I used to do it, but I ended up growing into that person more in real life. Most people just think i'm funny and laugh at everything I say. There's been the occasional person who took me seriously and flipped a ****, but they're immature and I just decided to ignore them. I don't have time for people who aren't important in my life.

That sounded mean, but it's true. People think it's funny because i'm blunt.

i've been on this site for over 2 years now, i played for A LONG time before i got decent.. everyone works up to be good.. no one just can play from the start.
