Have you noticed that out of the hundreds of thousands of members of this site, there are only about 20 regulars on the forums? It's sort of sad, thinking about back in late 2003 when there were dozens of people and the forums were always so busy.

Or maybe I'm just crazy.

i am en route (i think) to becomeing a regular i like to post here as much as possible and check in at least twice a day i noticed too the drop off from past years... my old acct was banned and then deleted so i remade it

Oh this would make a perfect first post , I think it's because you guys are more critical and obsessed with the game and its like if your name hasn't been in the top ten atleast once your not even recognized or if you say anything that those "20" people find to be opinionated , Boastful or insignificant you guys can be really malicious , and if you have like less then 100 post your gonna be called a noob anyway and who wants to put up with that.

you guys have gotten more egotistical in your ranks of importance and its not really tolerable for alot of people .

(i'm already prepared for the typical ,"noob remark" or "shutup noob" or " wtf :/"

people on this forum definately come off as elitist's. i dont even know how to use the correct grammar for elitist's.. so i'll probably get told that later in this thread. some are stubborn assholes. most are insecure kids that find it fulfilling to make fun of others via the internet. then there are those few that are cool.

Hardly any of the regulars here play FFR anymore.

It's not even correct to say most of us play Stepmania.

We don't intentionally drive away people based on postcount. We welcome new members, but we enforce non-stupidity. So far you're welcome to be here based on your ability to write coherent sentences.

You ARE crazy... but I have noticed that the number of regulars seems to be down. Much more than 20, but definately less than it used to be, IMO.

and I agree with Squeek. Moreso from the staff. We welcome everyone, but don't tolerate incoherent people. And alot of us don't play FFR/SM at all. I play like... 10 games every 6 months and haven't played SM in almost 2 years. I USED to play a ton though....

Anyway, welcome and enjoy the forums.

It's mainly retards who know nothing of the English language and bring forth unintelligent posts that contribute basically nothing we shun. An example, -Izzy-, he has over one thousand posts, yet go through some of the CT Forum.

It all depends on who you are; you can't just come in here boasting like a moron and expect people to stand by and say, "Oh he has a point when I really look through all that ignorance!" Seniority is usually a respected thing on the forums, and if someone's competent in the slightest bit they won't flame someone who hasn't done anything to deserve it besides post count.

I'm not even sure how many of us even play the game anymore, I know that I don't. There's also a forum for people who obsess with it, Brag Board. I don't see much obsession anywhere else though..
