... = shocked/angry/thinking-style longer pause (but still pretty short)
..... (especially when repeated across several lines) = long pause of disbelief/shock
CAPS = You REALLY wanna emphasize this word
italics = You kinda wanna stress it, like...I dunno, the reasoning is hard to put into words
bold = Screw bold. It doesn't really do anything. Unless you're one of those emo kids who likes to randomly bold things in their entries. Example: My lifetotally sucks. Like, OMG I just want to kill my parents. I just don't understand their bullshitstuff.
Note that if you say those words with the appropriate stress from the font formatting the sentence makes less sense.
underline = Pointing something out. Example:

I just wanted to point out how annoying it is when people add dots for exxageration effect. Ugh.
Edit: LOL @ StretchyPandas story, I agree 100%... however,
- = Good for lists. Also good for adding endings to things. Like, if I was being a total *** or dressing way too nice and criticizing you for stupid stuff, I would be acting like ap to you, so I might say I was ap-ing you. This is only because if I said I was aping you, you might think I was going King Kong on your ass, which is obviously not what I meant.
Typing so that people will read it and see/hear the inflection in your voice = awesome. In fact, when I type, I often say aloud what I'm typing and type it the exact way that I'm saying it. Like..I kinda paused after I said like, cuz I was thinking. And I typed cuz instead of because because I said cuz, not because. Sometimes I don't feel like uttering it all. Now, I'm not saying YOU have to type like I do, I'm just saying that it makes life a lot easier. I'd make a great author, if only I had something worthwhile to write about. People would read dialogue and stuff from me and know EXACTLY how the people sounded. Sounded...is that a word? Really? Wow.
wtf rant
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
The whole point of the Nano is that it is small. I've already got my cell phone, my wallet, and my annoyingly large keychain banging around in my pockets, and I know that if I were to ever add an mp3 player to the mix I would want it to be as small as possible.
And although I have 20 or so gigs of music, I only really listen to 3-4gbs of it at all, and I could cut that down to 2gbs without giving up anything I really want. It's rare that I will really like more than three or so songs off of an album, and I don't bother listening to stuff unless I really like it - there simply is no point when I have hundreds of other songs I really like waiting around to be listened to.
When I finally do decide to get myself an mp3 player (maybe this Christmas), I will definitely be considering a 6gb Nano.

Kefit... how about this: 2 cellphones (one flip, one normal), 3 sets of keys (car keys, home/dorm keys, business keys), no wallet but all of my cards/receipts/money in one pocket. And I often times have a novel in my back pocket.
keys + flipphone in left front pocket, money/cards in right front, book in back left, 2nd phone in cell pocket on the right pant leg.
And I still have a few pockets empty.
The only thing that is a pain is telling the difference between the home and business keys. I never grab the right one.
Apple announced the new iPod, along with a new version of their iTunes software, and an iTunes capable phone by Motorola, at a press event in San Francisco, with Apple CEO Steve Jobs presiding.
And in a final barrage of star power, rising rapper Kanye West showed up in person to perform two numbers for what’s probably the squarest crowd he’s ever entertained.
But later, Kanye West deviated from the event’s script, and delivered a scathing rebuke of Apple’s policy on black iPods. Before now, the only black iPod was the U2 special edition iPod, which was expensive, and marred by a bright red control pad, and was only black on the front half.
“It’s too little, too late,” said Mr. West, about Apple’s new iPod. He also criticized the media’s portrayal of black iPods. “You see a white iPod, and and they say it’s playing legal downloads. You see a black iPod, and they say it’s playing pirated music!”
Actor Mike Myers, who was cohosting the event, appeared taken aback. West concluded his rant with a bombshell that silenced the entire auditorium:
A guy at my work has a girlfriend that is a manager of Best Buy.
That means that he can get me one of these things for $87.
I might have to take him up on that...
