Anyway, I think it is high time that the active FFR and KoL members ran a large contest. it'd bring a lot of attention to the clan and to the site. Perhaps some sort of scavenger hunt around FFR or something of the like? Anything to get people coming here is a good thing, and KoL is really popular. I don't have much cash on hand at the moment, but I'd gladly donate 100k (of my 104k total) to the cause, if a respected member (eb, Tass, sleepless, etc.) was elected to hold the funds for such a contest.

On another note: should Mimehater (me) sell his TPS? I bought it for 5.3 mil, and it went way, way up. I use it almost every day, but 1.5-2 mil profit would be pretty nifty.

Ehh.... so much effort and work... and, frankly, when the alliances run contests like that, they have big big prizes. From my understanding, I'm the only one in the clan (maybe Whorli and Chardish also) to have an excess of funds... I've got about 9.5 million in meat right now, plus another 30-35 million in items. I know Whorli is around 5 million, and Chardish was over 3 million... Mead has over 7 million with his TPS...

But, what I'm getting at is that our clan's net worth can't be much more than about 60-70 million. FightABunny probably has alot of worth in items, but has said to me that he is practically broke. Plus he is new, plus he isn't that active of an FFFer... So, we really don't have the resources as a clan to have an event like that, because we don't have the ability to give a really good item, unless I'm paying for it myself, practically.

I think it would be worth it because for $20, we could have a Cheshire Bitten...(hence, the renegade of funk's grand prize).
$20 is a small amount to pay to attract many to FFR, in my opinion...

And, ckj... the point isn't to give money to get something, its to earn it. I've spent at least 100+ hours listening to KoL radio the past month, and as such have won 9 contests, and was smart in taking advantage of oyster eggs. Had I not still been a newb to the game at that point, I could have easily made 100 million meat. Oh well.
