RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Cliqueish

I've never understood the cliques that are formed. Personally, I try avoid cliques on the internet. . .why? Because it's the internet. And if flaming the hell out of some guy that can't type makes you happy, what does that say about you?

Then again, in life I've always been the kind of "outcast-but-easy-to-get-along-with" guy. I never really had anyone that outright hated me throughout highschool, and likewise. I think what the main concern here is while there are forum idiots and people that seriously need to learn to type properly and/or learn it's not cool or amusing to TyPe LiEk a jAckAsS or that "gurl" takes just as long to spell as "girl" and is not an actual word, or that adding "z" to ends of words instead of 's' does not make you sound wittier or more snappy, people feel they have to fit into a group in order to be accepted. And I know for the most part I'm ignored on these forums, but I'm not going to turn into a clone of someone else because I want to be accepted. There's a few people around here that like me for who I am (in the chat it's more obvious), and that's fine. I'm not seeking for approval, and neither should anyone new. If they're stupid about their typing, they need to fix it. Flaming them endlessly won't do that.

And while I'm on a roll, what's the deal with people announcing they're leaving forever? If it's for a viable reason (like they have family difficulties or joined the army, aka Laharl and Specforces), then go ahead, but if you're leaving forever, just shut up and go. So you're leaving? What makes you think that I care? I've gone extended amounts of time without posting on FFR, but I don't feel any reason to let everyone know. The forums go through cycles while the topics really are ridiculous and when they are worth replying to. And the second is when I'm normally around.

In short: Cliques = a false way of asserting one's acceptance as opposed to being themselves
People leaving = shut up and go, I don't need a topic that is really just you begging for attention.

    I'm done now.

I like you Jazz. I was the same way in high school. I spent a lot of friday nights sitting at home watching Friday Night Stand Up on Comedy Central. When that wasn't the case I was at Al's house playing Risk with him and Matt, maybe Luke until 3 am. They were good times.
