Ok, I know I am new here (and who knows I might get flamed for this but I don't care) but here's my view on accepting new people. If you chase off everyone new than there is no influx of new ideas and you really limit your chances to learn from other folks. It's good for the mind to converse with new people. It's called 'the exchange of ideas.' Granted someone could easily tell me off: "There are hundreds of people already here! We can learn from each other for years to come! We don't need the likes of you!" But to that I say: "Dude, it's just a forum on some website. You're really limiting yourself if that's one of the most important parts of your day. you should really trying hitting mute on the clicker and picking up a good book. Or maybe try a cup of joe in a coffee house with some humans instead of a coke in a chat room. Engage yourself man."

No flame needed, because your big sis paved the way for you and told us to be nice or she'll kick our asses... So yeah, acceptance through alumnae... Yay nepotism...
My first posts were all so idiotic because I only basically looked at the Brag Board and would cry myself to sleep... then I was like, whoah there's a CT, awesome.

Look, this is a forum. Forums are not the same as chat rooms or instant-messaging programs. When you post here, it is expected that you proofread your entire message to pick out mistakes.

I agree totally. I've argued with others that it's not cool to post on a message board if you'll be talking like "ogm liek i got teh AAA" It just pisses me off that people would do that. I can understand simple mistakes, like "soemtimes" or "becuase" because those are easily over looked, but some of you should really learn how to spell better. I think it's atrocious that the two mods who post most frequently are the worst spellers of them all. Seriously, guys, at least run your post through a spellchecker if you're unsure of how to spell something.

Alright first of all she's my little sister. Second, she couldn't kick anyone's ass. Third, I don't know if I should be happy or offended she felt the need to stand up for me.....I'll get back to ya on that one.

o_o I kinda thought about mentioning the fact that he is my brother, but then I assumed he would either take care of himself or get bored and stop posting on the forum, so Blah's the only one I said anything to and that's because I was talking to him at the time I noticed he'd posted.
