attention you motherfucking idiots when saving your fucking ddream stepfiles with no bpm changes, use save as type: stepmania/itg, single bpm there is absolutely no problem with using ddream for generic techno files as long as you save them as single bpm or edit the .sm file manually if you use a version of ddream that doesn't have this feature, what the fuck is wrong with you holy fuck it's like everyone on both sides is retarded

1. I fixed a typo for you. Cornandbeans is one word.
2. I'm also really bothered when I see someone call a chart "boring and generic." For starters, no file is unique anymore. There is no single thing that hasn't been done before on four key.
But if you're gonna hate on someone for stepping nothing but "generic" music options such as Sharpnel and Renard, you also need to be disgusted with simauthors whom use the same technique every single file or a large portion of every file.
Before I use this example I'm going to mention I use this only because it is the best available. Not because of a personal opinion. I may not like this person, ect but that's irrelevant to the point I am making.
Let us look at the best example (in my opinion) of "generic" simfile making. Icyworld. This one person is renowned as a jumpstream stepping master. (From what I gather.) He leads and organizes the "Nuclear Blast" packs which mostly consists of jumpstream files (assuming you knew this but on chance you're new and live under a rock, there you go.)
We're going to compare three (despite there being many more, but due to my lack of stepmania knowledge I don't know any other names off the top of my head) of his charts at specific times to denote how much he charts JS
Like seriously if you're one of these "stop charting generic songs" people, and you play most of Icy's charts, you're a huge hypocrite.
Again I mean no ill-will toward you Icy, but you're just a great example. (And yes the fact I used what I think is Sharpnel songs and a Dragonforce is in fact intended irony because they're all generic hard song authors.)
You're bitching about something that's really just irrelevant. Just because one can drive a car that is a stick shift doesn't mean they may not choose to use an automatic and the same in reverse. It's called preference. You know, that thing you're trying to force that is yours onto others?
