I'm thinking of getting back into this game. I used to always be a thief, but I want to try something new, any suggestions? Not cleric though. And what world should I play on?

Ultimately, whatever class you choose is your own decision, but each class generally has their own play style. Outside of the standard five Explorer classes (Warrior, Magician, Bowman, Thief, and Pirate), there are other classes out there with their own strengths, weaknesses, and styles. For example, Dual Blades can dual-wield weapons, while classes such as Mechanics and Wild Hunters utilize mount-based attacks. Any class is good in its own light, but if your personal preference is being a Thief, then it may be best to stick to personal preference IMO.

And the most of us are playing on Galicia.

Well for a world, you should probably go to Galicia since thats pretty much FFRs new home base. As for a class, if you like DPM id suggest a battle mage, bowmaster, wild hunter or gunslinger. Or make a pally and be the guild party whore =P together with your combat orders and my hyper body, the guild will be unstoppable mwahahaha. That is if IAAW makes it to bishop as well. We can have random training sessions and random goofy chatting, all in the name of random sillyness. Good times

Hah, I haven't worked on my pure INT cleric for a while. I'm currently dabbling in other classes and am currently parading around as a Night Walker. :P

I'll probably work on the pure INT cleric again, but it's not going to be often. :P

Okay, I'll play on Galacia, still having trouble what class I should be though. I like going in there and doing as much damage as possible. I like long rage weapons, which is why I chose a thief before, but that was also very costly, so I was thinking maybe a warrior or something. Also, would you guys be able to help me with quests and stuff? Kind of gets boring doing everything alone, and it takes ten times longer. T_T

Alright got everything downloaded. When I create a character, what should I "roll" on the dice for a proper warrior build?

There's no more doing that. You pick a category of characters (all the "original" ones are in Explorer) and then do basic quests until level 10. During this time, your stats are fixed and you do not earn AP. After you hit 10 and do your job advancement, you'll automatically get a 4/4 for the class you picked.

Also, play on Scania with me.

I have a level 78 White Knight on Scania but my guild has gone completely inactive since I quit and I don't know nobody. I'm working on a character in Galacia right now.

Okay, I started the game, and there's all these different types of classes or something. Resistance, etc. Which do I click on for a Warrior? lol.

Click on the one that says explorers for normal warrior
