I remember v.15, back when Wizet owned it solely. Ahhh, good times. :3
I quit playing around v.60 or so when hacking became too hard. D:

So what's all new and improved about it now? Is it even worth going back to?

Just prepare for everything to be really really really really expensive now.

It's actually not worth coming back to..

I'm planning on selling out all my equipment and account for $1500+ and moving onto Blade & Soul when it comes out in Korea in late 2011.

The economy is ****ed up because of people like me (and the rest of w8baby - a hacking website) and.. there is too much pressure to get good equips.

MapleStory just sucks up your money unless you're determined not to spend any money - and even then, because everyone else has NX and has good equips, you WILL be pressured into spending money.

Unless you're a GODLIKE merchant, I don't recommend starting Maple.

It's fun from level 1 - 140 or so, and then it gets hectic and stupid.

Well, okay. It IS actually fun from 1-140 or so.. but things get REALLY expensive.

and how do you duplicate stuff >_>

Channel crashing, map crashing, server crashing. Basically you set up a shop for yourself and buy out the item with another account. Then you put that item in MTS. Then you crash the map, server, or channel. Usually it's the entire server. Voila. Item will be in account 2's MTS, and the item will still be in account 1's inventory. The main problem is figuring out how to crash the server, and those methods lie in the hands of a few people. I just tag along and do the same method and wait for them to crash the server.

Did the server crash?

Send a ticket ASAP. They can restore lost items.

I also lost my 21% STR VSS once (some kind of failed rollback) but I sent a ticket and got it back.

Wooo been trying to merchant a little bit, made my first billion today.

I've been buying clean earrings and just applying an advanced potential scroll to them, then turning around and selling them based on stats, most of them have come out as epic.

I'm going to finally start buying myself some equipment though, I have ZERO dex gear...so my damage is absolutely horrendous.

Resist the temptation! With that 1 billion, you can blow it up to 2-5 billion wayyy faster.

Then you can really start buying end-game equipment (18%+ DEX equipment)

Ok so when I logged off
nexon had a server check
and that server check caused me to lose my wg for some reason,
an error in the database
so they sent it back to me
