Bioshock sucks. It is a generic FPS. It has no RPG elements in it at all. It is truly not a great game. It has no replay value whatsoever. AND NO MULTIPLAYER! Come on, it is the year 2007. Gotta have multiplayer. Conclusion: Waste of 60 dollars= money that could have been spent on a nice bag of weed. Source: I have it and beat it.

I think you've missed the point here. He's not trying to say that the Wii is the best console, what he's saying is that the Wii can be fun and it shouldn't be looked down upon because other people think it's only for "children" games.

ok im not getting a ps3 or a 360 for internet,thats what i have this thing called a computer it work better than both of those forthe internet[maybe not mine but,theres ones out there]as for me buying a 360,i am going to keep me ps2 b/c of GH1&2 i might guy GH80's and GH3 for the ps2 im undecided,but if i dont trade in my ps2 idk if ill have enough,but if i get a ps3 idc about it,but then again ps3 will be $100 more so yeaa,im pretty sure im gettin a 360,cause the games that are for ps3 dont appeal to my style,and/or ill get a game then just trade it in


and no matter what im gettin the pro system


ok now about xbox live,i heard the silver membership is free idk can someone tell me?


and what is the real diffrence between gold and silver that would make me want to have a gold membership?

1. Never mention any other console being better than a Wii around Squeek. His troll alarm goes off and he will stop at nothing to shove the Wii's statistics down your throat. Case in point: Don't say anything about the Wii.

2. The Xbox 360. Easily the easiest console to develop for graphics wise and also the most accident prone of the three consoles. 33% failure rate? I don't care who you are, that's pretty ****ty. So it has Halo 3 and Bioshock and what not? Doesn't matter if you have to replace the console a few times to even enjoy it. Online play isn't free and you have to buy attachable HDs to get bigger memory unless you get the Elite. Only reason it's cheap is because it's made by Microsoft so it has the money to do so. Probably the last console to my list to get.

3. Ahh PS3. The most expensive and powerful of the consoles. Too bad that its AAA games have received mediocre scores and a few of the well know exclusives have jumped ship to 360 and vice versa. However Sony knows this and has paid Epic (Creators of UT2K8, to make sure that the PS3 version is even better than the PC version. Every console has a bottleneck that makes development difficult so trying to say, "Oh 360 is easier to develop blah blah blah," won't cut it. The price cut for the PS3 and the 80GB is imminent and news of more games for the PS3 will be coming in a few weeks at TGS.

So overall, if you want a quick fix of games and have to endure the pain of sending in your console and what not, get the 360. If you want to waggle your arms around then go and get the Wii. If you want the same thing as the 360 minus the console failure rate but plus the wait for good games and lower prices, get the PS3. Frankly, I don't give a damn about either of them because I have my PC and my PS2 but if I had a choice of one for free, I'd pick PS3 or Wii.

The silver membership has almost no use, as it is only good for messaging and (I think) downloading stuff online. No online play or communication.

Gold membership may cost about $70 a year, but it's really worth it. Most games are Live-enabled (unlike PS3, where almost no games are) and the online play is most likely clean, smooth, and almost no lag. Some games, like Shadowrun, includes a free gold 3-month membership, so you may wanna pick up a game that has one if you want to check it out. I think the premium version (the one your getting) has a 3-month membership as well.

well all of those things everyone said about the extra features, and the power processor and blah blah blah, i really don't care of the power of the console i want, i care about the games, reason why i bought the wii first, because of zelda, say whatever you want about the gamecube version, the wii version is more inmersive (that's right you don't just waggle the remote, you do it in an inmersive way).

well as for the 360 i do not own and i have no plans to buy one. it is a good console with really good games i can't deny that, however the games that are on the console, are not what i'm looking for, the few games i want for the 360 will be released (or are already released) for the pc, but if you would rather play them in the TV wich is way better than a pc it's ok. halo 3 is a reason for me to buy it however is the only one right now. i'll wait and see.

as for the ps3 i don't have one first because the price, i know is a high price, but the very few exclusives that will be on the console are enough for me, and since it also has some games that are not 360 exclusives, i will be able to buy them saving some bucks (of course i'm willing to wait for a permanent price drop). the games i want are both final fantasy XIII, killzone 2, metal gear 4 and any other non-exclusive game (resident evil 5 and assasins creed) of course once i have my ps3 i will rent heavenly sword (too short).

and squeek you should be a psicologyst (did i spell it right?). i don't care what people say about me, i play wario dance in the middle of the living room, when my sister invites some college friends (some even get to play), tell me of a kid that can finish super moneky ball with all the crowns (i think your cousin, squeek, if he can, he is gifted xD).
a kid that can finish extreme mode in trauma center, a kid that can obtain a gold medal in sonic and the secret rings.

overall, the games individually have different targets. they are either broad (E) or narrow(M), little big world for ps3 is highly anticipated and it's a E game, viva pinata is one of the few E games for the 360 and it got a lot of popularity (didn't see that coming), besides many M games are really bad, so just because it has an M doesn't mean is gonna be good (the same with E and T), and those who call themselves "mature" should see that maturity has nothing to do with the kind of games, books or shows you play, read or watch, (really many old people play wii)

PS: oh and anyone who says bioshock sucks is because it hasn't played it

I can guarentee that your Dell is running a 32-bit Intel proccessor. I know for a fact you that you will have frame clips running Half Life 2 full quality.

Uh, my computer uses a 32-bit processor, and I run all my games at 1920 x 1200 with 16xQ AA, with a ping that's normally around 10-15 (on Battlefield 2142 which I play online the most). And this is also with NVIDIA's limited Vista drivers. And I can guarantee you that BF2142 is more resource-intensive than HL2.

My gaming rig cost me 1300 dollars about 4 or 5 months ago, and the only reason it broke the 1000 mark was because of Vista and Office 2007.

How exactly is the PS3 version going to be better than the PC version? Considering the cross-playing between PC and PS3, it hardly seems far for the PS3 version to be superior!

M-rated games aren't intended for a "higher level of thinking". They're intended for adults who can handle violence and distinguish the difference between a game and reality. That's it.

personally, i think all it will take is time for the ps3 to catch up on sales with the wii and the 360. hopefully the ps3's price will lower a little bit by christmas, and yes indeed it is newer and doesn't have as many games out, but im a sony fan all the way, and the games i see for it now do appeal to me. plus if i ever wanted to play halo 3 then i would just mosie over to my friend Major's and jump on that sh!t. but other than that im waiting for my dad to grow the balls to buy me a ps3

Get the Xbox 360. Trust me when I say this, you won't regret it. Just keep your PS2 for GH1, because GH2 and GH3 will both be out on the 360.

If its live your after, then its pretty easy - you can live off the freebies. If you make a silver account, then at the end it will offer you a free 1-month Gold trial, and this never goes away, so long as you use a different Windows Live-ID each time.

If its the hardware your mad about, just get a Elite. Black is sexy, and its got a bigger harddrive. With the 360 you dont even need a memory card to take your memory with you. Just unplug the HDD and plug it into someone elses Xbox.

ok so like last tuesday i got my xbox 360 i LOVE it,i bought skate and madden 07 and it came with 2 wired controller,a raceing game,and a mempry card(which im gettin today or tomorrow)

and i got it from rent-A-center because i could not afford it so for my b-day my mom and dad slip the price for every week,because the choices i had was get the 360 for rent a center or get nothing,as for me gettin a PS3 my mom says she knows someone where she can pay $300 for it so she said if i want it she'll get it for christmas,but like me and my friends just started jammin and im playing drums and my drum set is small and ghetto so for christmas i might just get a bunch of drum stuff,idk im still undecided
