Ps3 Vs. 360

ok so for my b-day,im askin for $$$ so i want to buy either a ps3 or a xbox 360,i want a p3 because ive owned playstation's in the past and i rly just wanna have GH1,well and FF13,and free online play,but 360 has gears of war which my friend has and ive played,and halo 3,but the online isnt free but its cheaper than the ps3,then there games i want that come out for both,so im undecided what should i get?

Don't get PS3 yet. Wait till they fix all the problems out. I would pick the 360... that's my opinion.

buy the ps3, free online and it doesn't really have many problems. and it has a very good lineup for this and next year.

besides gears of war is getting a pc version

Okay, PS3 sucks, it has no good games, and terrible functionality, no one was buying it so they had to cut the price, every store is full of them, if anything get a Wii, if not, get a 360, I own all three systems, trust me, and btw, FFXIII is planned to come out on the 360 aswell, my friend works for square enix

Daman you the biggest load of bs ever your friend does not work for square enix and the only thing better about the 360 is games the ps3 has much better hardware and there was no problems with it in the first place so stfu ea games you an idiot too for saying the 360 is more powerful. The 360 has 3 3.0 ghz processors and uses all 3 of them for game play the ps3 has 7 2.9 ghz processor and the most that it is uses in 3 1/2 cause of oblivion on blu-ray so if you are gonna lie and dont know what you are talking about dont even come into the forums.

Get the 360. Why? Let me tell you:

A) Good games already out (Bioshock, Gears of War, etc.)
B) Good Games coming out (Halo 3, Mass Effect, etc.)
C) Now has 200gb hard drive (most PS3 has is 60gb)
D) Most games are Live-enabled
E) Online play is really smooth
F) Tons of online downloads
G) Now gaining many PS3 exclusives (Devil May Cry 4, Virtua Fighter 4, etc.)
H) Looks like you're a Shooter player, so Xbox 360 has many of those, unlike PS3, which has a small library and not many shooters.
I) PS3 really doesn't know how to use its power, so even gameplay may lack.
J) Xbox 360 has a price drop, so PS3 is still more expensive then 360.
K) One free subscription of Xbox Live with Elite.

9 perfect reasons to get the 360. Also, as you can see, PS3 fanboys (like hewhoishigh here) doesn't know how to spell. You may also want to look at the Wii. It's really fun and original as well.

I have no problems with my ps3 but I intend to get a 360 also so I can play halo

I have a 360, ps3 and wii and let me tell you people the xbox 360 sucks with it's media, you need to stream eveything by using your computer and can upload mp3 or movies.
the only good thing you can do is get game demos and you have to play for xbox live and everything else you want to download. PS3 did a way better job with media. The PS3 does have better hardware, but I could careless because it's all about the games. and so far nothing good for PS3, I can say the 360 has a few good games but nothing thats a must have (in my eyes anyway) but halo 3 will kick ass. PS3 does have a few good games that will be out soon but it's does not matter in sales it's lagging. the wii is fun to play but it needs some online games to make it win the nextgen war, at this rate it will pwn sony and microsoft, look at the sales for the wii. it will pass the 360 by Oct. is my best bet if you don't belive me look for your self. I would have not got a 360 is halo 3 was never made. so we will see.

uhh well i got to play ps1 games on it so yea but im just gonna trade it in towards my ps3 or 360,ill prob. sell my gta lcs on ebay,and im not much of a shooter its just those games look good,anyway the first game im gonna buy is skate,but right now im more on the 360 side

WII ALL THE WAY. It owns 360 and PS3. Plus daman is right. I have a PS3 and I don't like it. Has no good games. Just like the PS2 but better graphics but worse games.
