Re: MapleStory
So should I even worry about adding a point into it? Considering I'm not even thinking about going to Jr Rog until at least 70, and I'll have Shining Ray then.Originally posted by remember_gurlELL THEN I MUST BE A VERY SKILLED 6 YEAR OLD, TO BE ABLE TO TYPE AS WELL AS I DO.Comment

Re: MapleStory
I made a warrior on Bera, and I have some questions about sp distribution. After maxing Improving HP Recovery, I will be recovering 60? hp every 10 secs, but the Relaxer chair allows me to recover 50 hp every 10 secs. I've read many guides and they all suggest raising hp recovery, but for 10 more every 10 secs, is it worth it? The only advantage I see is being able to recover more hp while on a rope.
I also have the skills Power Strike and Slash Blast, and their description mentions using a sword. Does that mean I won't be able to use them without a sword or is it an error in the description? I'm planning on becoming a spearman and I won't be using swords, so should I put sp in the two skills?
Is spearman, dragon knight a good choice? The using hp to attack thing kind of scares me. I doubt I'll get to lvl 70, but I'm asking just in case.
And finally, my MS name is Arelik, and it would be nice to talk to some people in the game. I'm going to be asking a lot of questions though, so don't add me unless you feel like answering them.Comment

Re: MapleStory
Alright, first things first, you WANT TO MAX THE SKILL CALLED MAX HP INCREASE FIRST BEFORE ANY OTHER SKILL. If you have not, then I suggest you restart your character while your levels are still young. After maxing that, you should bring HP Recovery to 10. Then go straight to maxing Power Strike, then Slash blast. Then throw at least one in Endure(I usually put in more but it's not necessary).
As for second job, that'd probably be an excellent choice. Spearman are by far the most boring class to level with during second job, but it payes off in 3rd job if you plan to go that far.
Edit* Also, the chance of you dieing from using HP in Slash Blast is lower than you think. You'll be very conscious of your HP decreasing as most people are, so don't worry about it too much.Comment

Re: MapleStory
So how many millions did you blow?
And guy who is making a warrior: Do what LightKnight said about getting HP Increase first, but ignore that next thing he said. You're gonna want Slash Blast first. Only advantage warriors have in 1st job is that they're the only class with a skill that hits multiple enemies. SB is sweet, and it'll be about the only way you'll keep up with other 1st job classes in leveling speed. You'll want to max Power Strike eventually, so you are super strong vs one target, SB first = faster, because the fastest leveling is killing lots of stuff at once. One thing you DON'T want is that Iron Will or whatever the 1st job one is that adds def. In case you don't know, defense in MS is basically useless, rofl.
As for 2nd job, Pages get the short end of the stick (their one exclusive skill, Threaten, doesn't work like it should and is therefore pretty useless, while Fighters and Spearmen each get a skill that other players really want, which gets them training buddies and faster exp). All the warriors are pretty friggin ridiculous in 3rd job, though (though White Knights, like mages, aren't too demanded at bosses since most are neutral). Really though, warriors are a good starting class to learn about MS with. I prefer ranged classes (as do a lot of people), but most will agree that warriors are a good starter character.
Note to self: Don't loan Chromer anything ever.OK STOP ****ING ASKING ME ABOUT THE DAMN CROMI. If Bonk wants it back so much, he'll find me, not the other way around. So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.

Re: MapleStory
You have 11 points extra at the end of 2nd job if you don't get any Holy Arrow. You can throw all 11 into HA if you want.
and rofl, in the video the 1st body went so fast. XDSo I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
