no one probably cares, but i just hit lvl 55 with a half-day of power training. Didn't know 3 points into FA would make such a big diff.
Anyhoo, I'm going inactive for 2 weeks, Xbow's unavailable for Kerning PQ.

You won't need much puppet other than a small distraction to get to a safe spot if you fall. You'll be in parties, thus, either in spot 1 or 3. Unless you're in a noob party where you'll be doing 4. You won't do 4 until level 105+. However, you can stop rain at 28 for a little while (158% vs 30s 160%) and get puppet to 5.

Rain is similar to my avenger but a little weaker (160% vs 270% after sp... good formula vs bad formula... 40% chance critical vs 50% chance critical). HOWEVER it's much easier to use, especially when it comes to spot 1 and 4. The range is huge and can hit both platforms in 1 and all 3 in spot 4! It's very nice. It isn't as nice as ice strike /w 11 booster and max amp, but it's still great.

I was thinking more along the lines of using puppet for other things. Sure, vikings are great exp in parties and all but I just don't have the attention span, nor the will to train in one spot for 30 levels >.< Even now, I fool around with puppet a lot at random spots where the exp isn't great at all (lycans, WWs, lucidias, taurospears) just because it is fun. I haven't "grinded" since my 6x (65-70 in 4 days on spring break >.<) and I don't really plan on doing so. I guess I"ll have to see what level 3 puppet is like before I decide.

Arrow rain is nowhere near as strong as explosion is EB.

Neither is Ice Strike. On DTs, explosion is actually 2x as strong (180 base attack vs 90), but Tee outdamages me now because she can cast Strike more than twice before I can cast explosion once. From what I've seen, Rain is even faster than Ice Strike, so yeah...the main thing is that you can sit and shoot rain for a long time from a safe spot and not even worry about getting hurt. Me and Tee both will watch TV while we spam our mob skills from safe spots. It's awesome not having to worry about getting hurt sometimes.

I've decided to add 2 in puppet and 1 into mb just because I'm poor and I need to conserve mp pots (strafe goes to 32 mp cost next level).

Told you that Dragon is the worst Priest skill ever.

Aside from more than one point in Door.

Srsly, max everything else. Get 20 dragon and 1 door. You won't regret it.

I knew it sucked, but what the video showed is way more than I'd expect. Either way, I already got level 1, and I used it at MDT and it actually works a lot better than in the video. I dunno.

My one gripe is that I thought it took Magic rocks. It actually takes Summoning rocks

How is the range and attacking speed on dragon? Cuz what I've seen of hawk, I notice it's hard to see the real range, because the hawk's attack animation ends very quickly and half the time I don't notice it's attacked. When I finally saw a vid of hawk, it seemed to attack from farther than it looks when watching somebody in-game. The main gripe I have with it is that its attacks come so slowly.

Also, is the damage Holy or completely neutral? If it's holy, then dragon would be stronger than compo on GPWs and such (both 150 base attack, but it'd get the full 1.5x instead of 1.25x like compo). If it barely attacks every, though, that'd be pretty annoying. It'd help as you run around the map HSing/Blessing/Healing people, cuz you could help them kill stuff without wasting any time.

One last question: Dragon on ropes. Can it be activated on ropes, and will it attack things above/below you while you sit on a rope?

PS: I just realized that Chris and I both used the word "gripe". I don't know if it's because I read him using it and had it on my mind or if I just like the word. o__O

EDIT: I finally did the smart thing and set up an Excel project that will calculate poison's damage on its own. All I do is put in the dmg done to various monsters into the raw data sheet and it calculates the % damage based on that monster's HP and averages them all together and multiplies it by poison's duration-1 (I've looked, and when something is initially poisoned, there is enough of a delay that it doesn't take damage for 1 of the seconds it's poisoned).

So yeah, this'll make my life easier, cuz I won't have to do as many calculations. -___-
