Yea chromer, the % you gain on monsters has little effect on where you train. The only factors are how fast they spawn, if they mob well (for some classes, may not be the best for sins because they lack a decent mob attack until 3rd job), and the terrain (a flat map like jetis vs. something like lorangs where you sometimes gotta jump around a bit). Lorangs mostly give me 0.01% and sometimes 0.02% but I still train there because the spawn is incredible and there are huge mobs which I can kill easily.

EDIT: Ok. I was idling on a coolies channel after I was done with it. I had given it to some girl. I was on the rope so that if some evil soul wanted to open a sack on me, they'd be unable to.

I guess I was low enough that the evil girl I gave the channel to was able to aggro a coolie and then move up and have it hit me and knock me down.

I was idling there for too long anyway, but when I got back on expecting to see myself directly below the rope dead, I found myself away from the rope dead. Obviously, I had been knocked down, and her excuse was "cold death." She didn't even try to play it off as "you got hit by a coolie somehow and got knocked down."

So yeah, 5% gone. I was only at 70% before too and now I'm dropped down to 65. See if I'm ever nice to people at coolies again. When I'm done with a channel, I'll just hog it until I can sign off.

PS getting to ludi now. Gonna get to 70 there.

Where I don't have to worry about idling places and being killed by assholes or cold.

I don't understand why you guys bitch about slow exp, so you decide to make a different character for faster exp......... when you could have spent that time that you used on the different character and put it on your current character, thus negating any speed advantage......
