There are a few places where you cannot cast Mystic Door. The boat / train rides are one. Can't be cast in town either. One important location that Door does not function in is the room J/Zakum is in.

The trick is to have two Priests in the party and leave one outside to just Door the dead folks right near the entrance.

It's not worth putting more than a single point in it.

That's really lame. I don't even level on coolies anymore, so I have no reason to even put 1 point in it.

So door me there, please. Or you're partying with me or another hermit and need stars recharged, so scroll back and you door back. So easy.

I'm a 23 mage, like their isn't enough of those in the game. Perhaps I'll go Fir/poi instead of the ice/lit.

Except that it's not like we're going to be in a far off place like coolies or, for Noah, pangs. There is a potion NPC a few vertical maps up from you if you're training in ludi, and I really don't think 5k is worth saving a little time because you don't want to:

A: climb vertically a few maps.
B: return scroll out and climb vertically down about 7 easy maps.

I mean, I will put a point in it, but I don't see any reason to put it ahead of anything else besides dispel or doom. Maybe I'll put the point in around when I'm getting close to max HS (ie around 80).

Sorry, I'd rather use that one point in HS and help a little than put it in door and never use it for any good reason.

Got Level 46 last night and plan to get Level 47 either today or tomorrow. Since Spring Break is over, my Leveling speed is gonna go down from like 150% to like almost 50%. -_-

Also, despite all the arguing about my +2 Fairy Wand, I managed to sell it yesterday for 380K. That brought me up to about 1.5 million. I also bought a Dark Anakamoon for 250K and a Flame Circlet for 140K. I feel like a smart shopper despite the whole "Potion Usage" discussion we all had last night. I plan to probably sell my 3 Vaulters and 2 Zards tonight in FM and reach 2mil GET. =)

However, I still continue as the next Race to 50 began Saturday night. So in the words of Noah, "GOGOGOGOGOGO."

Oy, I'm still in the void of financial problems... I only have enough money to get pots these days...

PS: Earned 20% after two trips to Pink Teddies, should have another level up after 8-9 more trips to Pink Teddies (I happened to have found a good spot to train them at =P)

Chris, remember that potions at that little shop right before where we level are more expensive. You can actually save money by scrolling up to the town and buying pots there then being Door'd back down. If they buy enough potions that they'd save more than 5k, it'd be worth it, especially if a couple of us go back at once while you stay and we get you pots, too. Also, I'm pretty sure we all have enough magic rocks to cover the trip (I've gotten quite a few at Grupins, and I wouldn't be surprised if half the stuff we fight drops more of them than we'd need while training).

Personally, I'd rather you get max HS asap rather than have 1 in Door. Of course, I still walk all the way down Orbis tower instead of using rocks (I have tons of rocks, so it's not like I'm too cheap to buy them or something) just because I like walking around. o__O

Actually, the best choice would be:

#1: Return scroll.
#2: pot shop.
#3: go through the toy factory and into the warped time area.

Wouldn't take very long at all, and it'd save me from using a point in door. It's not like we're talking about coolies where coming back to coolies is an adventure in itself... Getting back to the warped time area is really fast.

Oh yeah, and sins might only need to recharge stars, which, unless I'm mistaken, is the same price everywhere.

Also, I never need pots. The only thing I use is speed pills, because I'm addicted.
