From simple glances on Sleepywood, the game is broken with the NX enhancement and potential systems... lol.... A level 200 NL with max 30k range with only a 10-20 atk pot.. rofl.... Might as well play a PS.

Not to mention self skills so don't even need to party to get them.

My range with 20 atk pot, if I bumped to level 200, was 5602 max... LOL I would've needed a 575 attack pot.. Ridiculous... lol GG 15% luk enhancements.

3300 luk is so stupid. No point in any speed records now either.

I actually only play it now because I've made some good friends there. Sure the game is full of damage whoring 9 year olds who throw tantrums at their parents until they have all the latest NX gear, but I'm not there for them. I can actually have fun in the game just hanging out and doing my own thing. People don't have to play the game, but the ones who actually have fun with it and don't take it as serious as those who spend thousands of dollars on imaginary upgrades are the ones who really matter. End rant.

Used to play Maple Story back in 2005/2006 when it was in v14. 4 classes, simplistic, ****ing impossible to level. Quit at level 31 after months of leveling.

A friend in school advised me about the changes in Maple and I decided to come back.
Dozens of servers now, Dozens of classes, new zones, you can jump down now etc. and it is actually not a pain in the ass to level anymore. I personally think it's more fun than it's ever been for casual gamers such as me and my friend.

Oh yeah, started two weeks ago and we are level 39 DBs now in Kradia, if anyone cares.
It's fun actually making at least a level a day now :>

If you're worried about maxing out your potential damage limit and dps, and can't enjoy the game because you don't have the absolute best gear or damage range, or are mad because people who spend money on the game are better than you, then no, sorry, this game isn't for you. If you're there simply to have fun and pass some time by, socialize a bit, then this game is awesome.

I've spent about $1500 or so on it over the last 5 or so years.

The Big Bang is an update which COMPLETELY rebalances the entire game, much less steep exp curve, overwhelming amounts more damage, 3 new classes, new worlds, 2 new servers, complete revamp of the original maps etc.

Mechanics are going to annihilate Maplestory, and finally, my Dark Knight is overpowered as fuc.

I don't know if I'm going to make a new character until the Mechanics are released. My Dark Knight is ridiculously fun to play on now. I enjoy being overpowered, it's a nice change from being one of the most underpowered classes in the game.
