Grindcore last week, now I'm 135. I killed my first Anego, in part because I full HP washed for a few levels, and now have 18.5k hp with HB, so I could tank a hit...barely, but I survive. Went to fight bodygaurd A, then DC'd after about 10 mins of fighting, then I looked up his stats and saw his HP and almost shat myself. I don't think I'll be fighting him again without a very large party.

Anyone ever killed "The Boss"?

Yeah, uh, there's no way MS is at 92 million people.

I'll buy 92 million characters, since people make like 10+ alts in this game just for storage because Nexon has no idea how to handle storage. Then there are people who make accounts just to gold spam, people who make characters just to take the name, etc. Then, of course, you have to count all the people who tried the game and never played it again. This says nothing about active or inactive people.

When Blizzard says WoW has 11.5 million subscribers, that means they're getting $15 from 11.5 million people every month. It's not the number of characters, the number of accounts, etc. That's the number of active players. They can count this because they have to--it's money.

MapleStory is basically people telling you "It's fun when you get to ____"

And when you get to ____, you realize it's not fun. That's when someone who has accomplished a loftier goal says, "Oh, it gets really fun when you get to ___".

This cycle repeats until you've spent $1000 in the Cash Shop and reached level 200. Then you realize you've wasted 4 years of your life (and $1000).

My advice is to quit now.

Actually Squeek, the game is fun as long as you use it for chatting. If you've got a good group of folks to chat with while playing, it's plenty fun. That is to say, it's more fun than just chatting with them, which I guess isn't saying much.

But when you're all alone, or when everyone on your buddy list sucks balls or is inactive or whatever, it can be truly terrible. Worse is if your buddy list grows into a gaggle of grindingz folks. Nothing worth chatting about, just people looking for more exps.
