Also, Sony's already taken a huge hit this time around, Tokzic. PSP = FAIL. They went up against Nintendo with half-assed games and expected people to buy 'memory sticks', if I'm not mistaken. Sony's already losing money, not only on the PS3 but the PSP as well.

I'm not a fan of the PSP, but I don't know that much about it so I didn't bring it up.

Ok. Look. Sorry about the whole "placeholder" console. I don't remember where I saw it and I can't find any links to the article. I know I read it and it made sense since they said Wii had been in development ever since the N64 was out. That much is obvious to me.

Now, consider this. We are a forum riddled with kids who like video games. You dig? We all like some kind of video game. We're all about the same age demographic of other gamers, so we represent a pretty normal gaming community.

We have about two dozen REGULARS who have confirmed that they have a Wii and ZERO who have confirmed they have a PS3.

Gosh, the PS3 looks REALLY GOOD EB. I CAN'T WAIT TO GET ONE BECAUSE I JUST KNOW FOR CERTAIN ALL OF MY FAVORITE FRANCHISES WILL END UP ON THE PS3. Just like how GTA4 (The game EB wanted a PS3 for originally) has already been confirmed to be released on the 360 first. Oh, and Guitar Hero is already set for the 360, so there goes another exclusive. And how Capcom and Konami, two of Sony's biggest supporters, have already shown more support for 360 and Wii.

Face it. The PS3 is a horrible console. The only backbone they have are the Final Fantasy diehards who only want it for FFXIII and maybe some people who want Metal Gear Solid 4 (though there's nothing to say it won't come out on another console).

Speaking of which, Square Enix (you know, those guys who make Final Fantasy) have already turned to Nintendo for their latest release of Dragon Quest. I wonder why.

Not many people knew about the PSP loss. I assumed as much because the PSP LAUNCHED AT THE SAME PRICE AS THE WII. Ridiculous.

The video is old, but still. It's just "Wii". The word "Nintendo" is barely even visible on the box / console / games.

Busted. Nailed. Snagged. As many of you have figured out (maybe our speech was a little too funky fresh???), Peter isn't a real hip-hop maven and this site was actually developed by Sony. Guess we were trying to be just a little too clever. From this point forward, we will just stick to making cool products, and use this site to give you nothing but the facts on the PSP.

And why did they do that? Because the FTC made this kind of advertising illegal the day before.

Good thing I posted a big rant praising the PS3. Way to attack me for no reason.

I don't pay any attention to most of what you say because you are incredibly biased and won't give Sony any credit, yet you give Nintendo every chance in the world. I bet you think the Virtual Boy was the best **** ever. Seriously, I'm surprised you haven't choked on Iwata's **** and died yet.

That said, the PS3 isn't a bad console. It's just really expensive. The 360 is the most boring console out there right now. I will never get a 360. I will get a PS3 once it stops being so damned expensive, I just hope Sony hasn't gone bankrupt by then. =\

As for people having or not having a PS3/Wii, I'd say that's more a problem of distribution/expense. Most of the people on these forums are young and can't afford a PS3. Those who can are having trouble finding one to buy. Just because the console isn't readily available doesn't mean it's bad. It means Sony didn't plan too well, yes, but that's about it. Obviously if they're all sold out, SOMEBODY is buying and enjoying them, whether it's firsthand or through ebay. I mean, I know of plenty of people who haven't even heard of the Wii, much less own one. Does that make it bad? No. Calm down and look at how ridiculous you're being.

Only game that would make me want to purchase a PS3 is White Knight. On the other hand, the only three games that make me want to buy a Wii are TP, SSB:B, and Mario Tennis (if they're making a new one).

Yeah shox, the 360 is currently looking like the system to have, i have no idea what eb is talking about. The 360 has more options, a better online facility, a better layout than the wii and ps3, even though it came out A YEAR ago.

Sony doesn't deserve any credit because of horrible business practices, PS3 and PSP notwithstanding, though good examples.

As much of a fan of the XBOX that I was, the 360 doesn't thrill me in the slightest, which is why I don't own one. The PS3 doesn't sound at all appealing (despite how absolutely beautiful Marvel Ultimate Alliance on HD looks), and the Wii just seems to have done everything right for the gamer.
