Mmmm...That's Toasty.
Except on the first picture you forgot to snap a screenshot while they're expressing a certain facial expression. Their "suspicious" look is downright beautiful.Comment

Yeah, it'll definitly run on computers pretty easily. The leaked version even ran well, and that was what, a year ago? Probably not very optimized at that point.
And yeah, I'm definitly getting this for Christmas / buying it after being disappointed that nobody got it for me.So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

Seriously Anti, with what specs do you run HL²?Truth lies in loneliness, When hope is long gone by -Blind Guardian, The Soulforged

Athlon 3000+ (Barton core, OC'd @ 2250 Mhz), 512 Mb PC2700, Radeon 9800 Pro (OC'd @ 400/700 Mhz). Very modest. Yet I'm still able to max it out (including 6x FSAA, 16x Anisotropic Filtering) at 1024x768 and average 70 fps. I found I could actually bump it to 1280x1024 and still get very playable framerates (around 30-40 fps) but I'd rather have the increased framerate and reduced resolution, since I prefer playability and constant smoothness over graphical quality.Comment

Oh... because your graphics kinda look as good as mine. I guess it's because it's only a screenshot.Truth lies in loneliness, When hope is long gone by -Blind Guardian, The Soulforged

Get these guys some shots of the water and the gravity gun. There's no better screenshot than a guy getting hit in the hit with a bucket at high speed with HL2 water all around. So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

I finally got to play it today.
Notes:
Ravenholm is a place only Bruce Campbell could withstand without dying or emotionally breaking down. Therefore, it can be assumed that both Gordon Freeman and Father Grigori are descendants of Bruce Campbell and are somehow related to each other. Even with the Gravity Gun, it was nothing like Painkiller as I thought it would be. God, that was scary. I couldn't stop cussing every time I thought I heard something, and my friend could stop spazzing out every time he thought he saw something.
The hovercraft owns more than the buggy, even if the hovercraft has worse controls. It's just a lot more exciting.
And last, the spears rock. If you haven't taken the time try a spear with a gravity gun, you are missing out. Try spawning one in the console if you missed the chance to use one. They kill Antlion Queens in one hit, and do even better to Combine.Comment

oh, and one last thingy I found: http://img49.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img49...ast_010003.jpg
Citizens armed with RPGs versus Striders. That shot looks better than C&C: Generals.Comment

Ravenholm wasn't actually that scary, but GODAMN was it fun. Gravity gun + sawblade/exploding can + zombie = fun. That's math I can really learn.Comment
