Flayra announced today (or yesterday not sure) that NS WILL go to Half-Life 2.

There's also rumours about a Natural-Selection 2.

Running it on more than the requirements rules.

I've gotten decently far since I bought it 5 hours ago. The helicopter bothers me in my quest for airboating.

I dunno if a 9600 would handle it very well though. I'd have to lower it to Medium to get a half-decent framerate.

haha, yes it does handle it very good. My friend has a Sapphire 9600 Atlantis and he runs it full graphics 2x AA with no lag. I have a 9200SE and I run it medium graphics. HL² has awesome optimizations, trust me. The only problem would be if you had an nVidia, since the game is ATI optimised.

Its a great game and honestly if you play it enough you can prolly beat it by the time wow actually comes out...

lower resolution too if your 9600 doesn't do low settings too well (if you get it that is)

Also hl2 is a badass game! The vehicles are sweet and its just fun all around!!! If you like shooters this is a great one!

the best one if you ask me. Yeah, I'm a big fan of all of Valve's games. They really know how to make games!

The game is not a system hog at all. If you're anywhere near the recommended system specs, you'll be able to run it fine. My very modest system (3000+, 512, 9800 Pro) can run it maxxed out smooth as silk.

I'll post some beastly esque screenshots later on.
