xbox or ps2?

Which do you think is better, Xbox or PS2.

Xbox has overall better graphics and is way faster then the PS2, but the PS2 has a wider variety of great games. Though i think the PS2 has a crappy frame rate.

I would choose xbox.

Sure it is a better system, but PS2's games are way better. It's like having a really fast computer, but only having solitaire.

GAMECUBE.

We have classic Nintendo games brought to 128-bit life. Xbox only has Halo and Halo sucks a bunch. They have really no other good exclusive games. Ps2 has a few decent games, but overall exclusive games for Gamecube own all other systems.

Wow, DDRKing133 actually acknowledges that the PS2 has better games, but still says the XBox is a better system because of its graphical capabilities.

That's like saying the Atari Jaguar is a better system than the NES or SNES.

Halo is the ONLY good game for Xbox and it does not suck! and gamecube sucks in my opinion b/c some of the games look all cartoony and stuff. but if i had to choose i would play Ps2 just because i like Final Fantasy games.

My loyalty is with PS2 'cause the standard controllers for X-Box annoy me. S controller is ok though, I can kick ass in Halo with it like I will tomorrow night. Also I heart Sony ^^

I still don't understand why people don't like the Gamecube because of its "cartoony graphics". It really makes no sense. I think the Gamecube has the best games out there. Verruckter just doesn't know what he's talking about. Plus, the playstation has WAAAAAY more crappy games than the XBOX.

My loyalty is to the XBOX. It has Halo, which rules BTW, and many other awesome games. The hard drive, XBOX Live, and better system specs just add to it, especially Live. Oh, and I heart the big controller; the button layout is bad for the small ones and the triggers are too sensitive.

I hate Sony, a lot. It has a lot of good games, more than the XBOX, I will concede, but I think we should face the facts that the Playstation would have failed if it weren't for Squaresoft. Its controller also blows chunks for fighting games, which is my favorite genre.

Overall, I'd give the best system title to the Gamecube, but given the choices you presented, XBOX.

As far as I'm concerned, I just use all three systems, and buy the exclusive games for whichever system they may come out for.
However, for games that have a multi-platform release, I always go with the XBOX version, due to the better graphics and the super dooper S controller, which is teh dominant.
I suppose if I had to choose between these two systems, I'd wind up keeping my XBOX, for Ninja Gaiden, Panzer Dragoon Orta, obviously Halo (with Halo 2 coming out soon), as well as the pending release of Jade Empire, which looks to be hella cool.

Only good games on XBOX = DDR Ultramix and Halo (but it does get boring after a while...)

I Personally like the ps2 much more than I like the xbox (but I have both rofl christmas present and birthday present) PS2 has such a large variety of games, not to mention a large number of awesome Role Playing Games that it just makes me drool. Xbox is just like meh... Great system, but not enough games.

I just have a small grudge because XBox took DOA3 and my budget has never allowed for me to buy an Xbox since then.
