Moogy's winning prizes all over the forums today.

            ALL QUOTES FROM DDRKING.

Squeek, i think ur just jealous because you cant play play Halo or Halo 2 on your little tinnee weenee gamecube.
(Not my picture, just an example. I'd kill myself if my room were that messy and had an Xbox in it)

While I will commend you on commenting on the size differential of the systems I must object to this comment. I have already beaten Halo on my PC and already uninstalled it. It has absolutely no replay value and if I want to play a good Multiplayer FPS I play my UT2k4.

            GCN Dimensions: 5.9" x 4.3" x 6.3"
            GCN Weight: 5.5lbs

            XBX Dimensions: 11.8" x 3.1" x 7.1"
            XBX Weight: 8.8lbs

            How's that for portable?

Hmmm....what good racing games does gamecube have............nothing! oh but you will probaly say super mario cart mushroom world or whatever its called, yea man, that game is totally hard core racing. Little childrens cartoon characters racing on, carts.........woah! were talking 10HP man! NO GOOD RACING GAMES ON GAMECUBE.
Well. I at least did research before I said PS2 and Xbox have no good racing games. If you are considering Project Gotham Racing or Gran Turismo as "good racing games" then you need to reconsider your definition of good. All modern racing games are mirrors of each other with different track layouts. You get modern-day cars like hyped-up civics or crap like that and you have to try to drive a car realistically without a wheel. First of all, every time you play those games it is unrealistic due to the fact that turning is IMPOSSIBLE. I drive an SUV and I can pop tighter turns faster than they can without flipping over. These are lowriders going a little faster than I go and they hit walls like madness.

NOW. Gamecube has Mario Kart. Mario Kart is a good racing game because it includes interesting, complex, and diverse tracks. It also involves skill and strategy in order to win. You must be able to drive and use the special manuvers, along with knowledge of when to use weapons. Although it isn't ultra-realistic, or to any extent that complicated, it blends the ability to use skill and knowledge in a fast paced and exciting game. Ultimately you come away happy that you played; that is the point. It is a fun multiplayer experience. If you consider it a kiddy game, I don't really care because what is a kiddy game to you is one of the best 4-player games to me.

But, like I said EARLIER, F-Zero is NOT a kiddy game. If you can beat F-Zero GX on Expert with 1st on all 5 cups then you will be one of the first to do so. Besides that, racing games suck anyway. That's why Gamecube was smart to think of better games. They may not be as "realistic" as your crappy games but they are 10x more fun. I only bought F-Zero because it was 20 bucks. (Don't you even start thinking it was marked down for "crappiness". It was marked down because it's been out for a long time now. Halo is 25-30.)

Does GayCube have any good FPS?hmm lets think.............NO!
If you think metroid is a good FPS, which it isnt, its the only one then.
There are plenty of good FPS games for Gamecube. Metroid Prime is the best FPS (Hey, it won game of the year and HALO DID NOT. Which is better, eh? EH? SERVED.) on the system but it's not like there aren't any more. They aren't exclusive to GCN but they are still good: Timesplitters 1 and 2, 007 Agent Under Fire, and 007 Nightfire. But then again it's not like Xbox has any good exclusive ones. PS2 has Red Faction 1 and 2 which are decent. Halo and Unreal Tournament/Championship are both on PC now.

Concerning Third-Person shooters; guess which company has the rights to Resident Evil? OH, wait that's right! Only gamecube could contain Resident Evil.

The reason they dont put GC games on the pc is because nobody would buy them becaus e they suck. Gamecube games arnt PC material anyways. You could play one of those crappy gamecube games on a commador 64."
COMMODORE 64. I would love to see this playing a MINI-DVD disc in a commodore. The REASON they don't put GCN games on a PC is because Nintendo likes to remain exclusive. I said that before. Xbox game sales were low so the companies that released them were forced to put the games on PC or all 3 systems (IE Halo and Splinter Cell respectively).

Now FF7-11 is pc material. RP games go great on the pc so does first person shooters like Halo. Dont even say why isnt metroid on the pc. Its because it wouldnt sell, cuz it SUCKS. The only people i know that play metroid are little 5 year olds.
I would love to see your source of information on this. Also, please let me know of any 5-year old prodigy children who can play Metroid Prime (a "T" rated game, mind you). I would absolutely love to see a 5-year old beat Metroid Prime. My cousin is 5 and a half and he owns Super Monkey Ball 2. The game I told you about before? Yea. He can't pass level 10 out of 150. He also knows more Spanish than you and more than likely his arithmetic skills surpass yours.

Why do you hang around 5-year olds anyway? I hope it's not for the reason I think it is...

Spawn is a crap load better then Link. Links might have more moves but spawn is more powerfull, hes got powerfull grab moves n fireball attacks and great stuff.
Spawn is wicked cool looking but Link just fits in better. Link comes from games based in the past and has weapons. Spawn comes from comic books and sometimes has his axe. Heihachi has no place in this game as he has no weapon and everybody else does.

Shenmue3 is going to be the best XBOX EXCLUSIVE game ever. Shenmue kicks ass.
It's so good that I've never even heard of it! YES!

Ninja Gaiden was fun. Insanely hard, but extremely fun. I also really loved Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy 10. But the problem is the lack of replay value! This is what a Gamecube is all about. I could go through my entire library and pick out a game at random to play and love it. I still haven't 100% completed all of my games but at least I can replay them and have fun doing so.

And now I quote E3insider at the Nintendo Press Conference:

The conference was packed with over 1,500 people, and began with three rocking trailers for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Star Fox 2, and Resident Evil 4. EVP Reginald Fils-Aime said "My name is Reggie. I'm about kickin' ass, I'm about takin' names, and we're about makin' games!" The trailers produced thunderous applause, barely audible above the ass-kicking, name-taking sound system.

SVP George Harrison provided financial reports and comparisons. To challenge their new competition in the handheld space, Nintendo shared the fact that they have sold more Game Boy Advance units than Sony has sold PlayStation 2 consoles.

Game Boy's new wireless adapter and video playback capability were highlights of Nintendo's prediction that the Game Boy will remain dominant in the marketplace.

The exciting launch of the DS included demonstrations of several game play modes including a Mario flying game with 3D animation on the top screen and a top-down perspective 2D map on the lower screen, and a Metroid Prime game with 3D first-person shooter game play on the lower screen and wire-frame mapping on the top screen.

The DS will offer backwards compatibility with Game Boy Advance as well as a new bay for new DS games. Two wireless communications protocols allow up to 16 people to play up to 100 feet apart, as well as across the internet via Wi-Fi. The console is controlled through Game Boy-style buttons and cross, as well as a new touch-screen interface that works with a stylus or your finger.

One of the big surprises was the launch date - Nintendo has promised this device to be available before the end of the year in the United States.

Other games that were featured included Viewtiful Joe 2, Mario Pinball, Paper Mario 2, Pikmin 2, Terminator 3, Harry Potter: Azkaban, Zelda: Four Swords, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, Donkey Konga, Geist, Donkey Kong Country 2, Mario Golf: Advance Tour, Donkey Kong: King of Swing, Zelda: The Minish Cap, Rainbow Six 3, Tales of Symphonia, Killer 7, Baiten Kaitos, WWE Day of Reckoning, NCAA Football 2005 and more.

Finally, in a show-stealing moment, a breathtaking trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker 2 was played. It featured a grown-up Link and a more edgy 3D environment and the sudden entrance of Shigeru Miyamoto complete with Link's shield and sword.
I saw the trailer for Halo 2. I can tell you right now the differences. A) You can dual wield. B) You can play as elites. That's pretty much it. HOLY CRAP PREORDER NOW.

I then saw the trailers for Half-Life 2. This is a video game. Long-anticipated goodness right here. We've got the most intricately involved physics engines and perfectly developed enemy AI right here. And vehicles for all those people who think that Halo is the first/only game with decent vehicles.

Nintendo shared the fact that they have sold more Game Boy Advance units than Sony has sold PlayStation 2 consoles.

That's awesome. The contest looks like this now:

            1) GBA
            2) PS2
            3?) GCN
            4?) XBX

I heard somewhere that Xbox sales have passed Gamecube sales but elsewhere I've heard otherwise. So I'll leave GCN on top.

            Special Documentary!

Why does Super Monkey Ball 2 own all other party games?

Now TimeSplitters (TEH CRAPY FPS OLOL)

TimeSplitters 2 may very well be the best split-screen multiplayer-focused first-person shooter ever created. - Jeff Gerstmann (Gamespot)
            To sum it all up:

At least I played the games that people said were the best. I beat Halo and never played it again due to lack of interest. I beat Kingdom Hearts and rebeat it on Expert. I played GTA3 and VC for half an hour and got sick of it. I played Gran Turismo for three races and got sick of it.

Before you try to play your "DVD" or "Broadband" cards, Gamecube has them covered. Gamecube released the Broadband adaptor already and the Panasonic Q (re-release of the Gamecube in Japan) took care of all the DVD needs. Besides, you should have a computer DVD-ROM and a DVD player with surround sound. That covers one in your room and one in a den. Why would you ever need a third one?

I think if you're going to insult me that you should at least spell my username correct. Also, maybe putting verbs into sentences to complete them would be smart ("always has to right"? Did you mean "always has to be right"?) And finally, if you're going to insult me the least you could do is TRY to appear more intelligent (ie: proper grammar)

                              sqeak sqeak sqeak...................

Gran Turismo is one of the best racing games out there. You just cant appreciate it. You must not know your racing games if you think Gran turismo sucks and mario kart rules. PGR1 and 2 are also good racing games. The cars arnt always the same in racing games. You ever played Sega GT. I bet youve never even heard of a Lotus b4.You see my friend, in every racing game you dont hav a ferrari 360 modena and a F50. Its different, you might find an Enzo or mabye even a Lambo. Even if theres ia the same car its a different one, maybe its lightly tuned or is a special version. EX. Camaro RR- then we have a Camaro Z28!

Sqeak-All modern racing games are mirrors of each other with different track layouts. You get modern-day cars like hyped-up civics or crap like that and you have to try to drive a car realistically without a wheel. First of all, every time you play those games it is unrealistic due to the fact that turning is IMPOSSIBLE.

Okay, so your telling me that a half million dollar Enzo is a modern day car? Wow, i never noticed everyone driving Enzos lately.

If you dont have a wheel they have those wheel controller crap that comes with the peddals.

                              Turning is impossible?!
Ever heard of a real car simulation. How the hell would you know what a Ferrari turns like. Mabye it doesnt turn right caus you suck at racing games.

im sorry to break this to you but, timesplitters is one of the worst FPS games. Yes it is for Xbox and also PS2, but its not a good game. Sorry chief.

Who is "sqeak"? Honestly, the next person who can't even spell my username right isn't going to hear my reprise.

OK. So you say your racing games are all different now. In some games it's a Camaro...then it's...ANOTHER Camaro! Do they have a Ford Excursion? How about a Hummer? We all like Hummers. Or maybe a School Bus? How realistic IS IT then? If you have one of these cars you could run over the other cars and win the race by default! But wait...that's not REALISTIC now is it? Actually, I think that's more realistic than you can handle.

And you just proved my point more by saying that the cars in the game have no owners in the world. It's not realistic if that race could never happen, eh?

Nintendo knew that people didn't like racing games due to repetitiveness and the fact that nobody could ever own the cars. So they took away the negative and made the other even farther from the truth so you don't have to worry about it. Thus is the birth of Mario Kart and F-Zero.

Wheel controllers suck. Buy more Action/Adventure games.

How would about 6.3 billion people know how a Ferrari turns? Do YOU know how a Ferrari turns? I doubt it. I KNOW how my Explorer Sport turns 60 around a 90 degree turn without problems. I noticed in these games you can't even take a simple 45 turn at 90 with a lowrider DESIGNED for turns without slowing down! What's up with that? My friend drives his crappy Civic at 120 down a 45mph road and he never has to slow down for anything (well, except for those four cops that pulled him over.)

And would you mind telling me why you hate to break your opinions to me? I gave you an official representative's word on how awesome Timesplitters was. Should I repeat it?

TimeSplitters 2 may very well be the best split-screen multiplayer-focused first-person shooter ever created. - Jeff Gerstmann (Gamespot)
Gamespot.com. One of the top gaming websites out there. The box itself has acclaims from newspapers and gaming sites all around saying it is the heir to the best multiplayer FPS before it: Goldeneye.

In closing I must restate that anybody who wants to try to defend their system of their favorite genre of games had better sound intelligent and had better SPELL MY USERNAME RIGHT.
