copyrighted songs have always and will always be allowed in stepmania packs. that's pretty much the entire nature of the game.

I didn't play the charts yet but as long as your 4key file's good to go, 6key should be fine regardless.

Unlike FFR where you need permission, you can step whatever the hell you want to for SM.
