        Re: FFR Community Pack RELEASED!!!

Wow, I'm reviewing my own pack, crazy.

Amber Shores- Perfect. No technical errors and fun. 11/10

Blood for Justice- I actually find this quite fun. It loops though, which kind of tested my limits. I mean, it was fun once, but it's boring the second time around. Still solid file. 7/10

Buzzards- I STILL can't pass this, screw you 8.5/10

Chain of Pain- This gets more fun every time I play it, but I'm a sucker for Nekomata Master, so 9/10

Chipscape- TECHNICALLY INCORRECT look at Amber Shores for a good example of how to step this j/k bro you rule 8.5/10

CCCP- To be honest, I really really like this file. Technically good, broken flow works very well, and excellent for scoring. 9.5/10

Elysium- No love for this file? T.T Honestly I play this almost every time I open SM. Excellent in its simplicity. 10/10 (and I almost never give these out but this file just wowed me).

Engine Room- Interesting file. Technical errors, though. 6.5/10

        more to come later.

elysium - was bored and made a chart for this that's insanely boring unless you like easy files
you could have at least made it a fun easy file
aka step the stream and crap like that
seriously you don't seem to have a target audience for this one ?_?

I knew what you were doing, but its just stupid Stargroup. I think we all understand that.

Nows the ****ing Time: For Hardstyle, this is actually a pretty steppable song and when it comes to steppable songs, Im a nazi too. Trust me. Its really not that bad. People just going to have to understand when stepping hardstyle, the files going to turn out old-skool and like this. This is hardstyle rave. To be honest, This song could of been stepped more and that would of made it less repetitive (Part before transition going into the song Aerodynamic - Cloudchaser in the CD). I just think its a music understanding problem. You want to step something repetitive and boring? Step Electro/Dream House and then tell me what you think.

Actually, I dont know what you guys are complaining about nor understand why you guys talking down on you're own pack, but this was a pretty good pack in my opinion. Some song choice problems though, such as Jay Chou. Seriously? You're Asian enough to know that Jay Chou music as well as almost all Chinese music is horrible for stepping because they are boring and repetitive. And you thought my song choice was bad? Thx for the MP3 though. Im a fan of Jay Chou.

Both stargroup's files: I was hoping for masterpieces out of you man. Amber shores is not DNB by the way. As a matter of fact, there are no DNB files in this pack other than Hell Hath No Fury which was ultimatly taken out. You're other one was more like WTF.

My top five if it matters:

Skyscraper (Seriously NPV. Give yourself credit on this. This was a fun file man, and really is great. Replay Value is there and I understand why everyone likes it.)
Ship Select (Fun Ass **** file to play. Thats all)
                My Half
I Love Voltage (Was fun to play)
CCCP (Hard as **** to me though, but I love the song and I think the files great to)

you obviously don't understand the point of the file

how dnb shud be stepped is quite clearly a joke, but it also tells people that they should STOP STEPPING OVERLY TECHNICAL FILES GOD IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND HOLY SH*T

also, this is a pack called "FFR COMMUNITY" do you really think I'd throw my masterpieces in here when rf2 is obviously in progress? not to say motteke isn't cool as sh*t but you know

too bad FFR's Integraation was released a bit earlier accidentally and it's basically similar.

                        Full review.

Amber Shores- Perfect. No technical errors and fun. 11/10

Blood for Justice- I actually find this quite fun. It loops though, which kind of tested my limits. I mean, it was fun once, but it's boring the second time around. Still solid file. 7/10

Buzzards- I STILL can't pass this, screw you 7.5/10

Chain of Pain- This gets more fun every time I play it, but I'm a sucker for Nekomata Master, so 8/10

Chipscape- TECHNICALLY INCORRECT look at Amber Shores for a good example of how to step this j/k bro you rule 8/10

CCCP- To be honest, I really really like this file. Technically good, broken flow works very well, and excellent for scoring. 9/10

Elysium- No love for this file? T.T Honestly I play this almost every time I open SM. Excellent in its simplicity. 9.5/10 (and I almost never give these out but this file just wowed me).

Engine Room- Interesting file. Technical errors, though. 6.5/10

FaXX- Who the hell un-bs'ed this, I just passed 90 mil, which I've never done before. 7/10

Get Ready 2 Rokk- Looking back, this is really unfun. Freezepop songs never make good files though. 5/10

Golden Cross- I stepped this for DSU4, lmfao. This is really fun though. 9/10

                        I <3 Voltage- DnB. Fun. 7/10

Integraation- I actually really love the solo chart for this. The singles is pretty solid too. 8.5/10

Long MOSAIC.WAV song- This was pretty fun, though a cut may have been good. 7/10

Motteke! Sailor Fuku (Glucose Mix)- Weirdest technically accurate file I've ever played, but I can see myself playing this every once in a while. Cool. 7/10

Mountain of Faith- Somehow I enjoy this file. 7/10

My Half- Best ****ING VS file ever made. I really hope you're back for good ~Torrent~ because this was really fun. 10/10

Nageki no Ki- I spotted two or three places that could have used more minifreezes on cymbals, but otherwise this was really sweet. 9/10

nishiabazu suidou kyoku- The bubble section made me squeal with joy and every part of this file was close to perfect to me. 9.5/10

Now's The Fuccen Time- Repetitive, but it's somewhat fun with the rhythms and jumps. One thing Kommi was always good at was utilizing minifreezes. This chart is begging for some BPM tricks. 6/10

On the Jazz- A file I kept for the sake of have an easier, fun file. Nothing amazing though. Ehh. 6.5/10

PARAJAZZ- More complex, challenging file than most of the stuff here. Very fun. 8.5/10

Retard Drums- I have to say quite an improvement from the old file. Unlike the old file, this one makes more sense and is just as fun. 8/10

Saikyou OX Keikaku- Everything about this file rules. Jacks, hand usage, freezes, and mines. Nothing to complain about here. 9.5/10

Sakura Sakura- My file. Personally, I think this is one of my best files to date. It's simple but has fun patterns and layering to boot. Most people probably won't like it much since it's kind of repetitive. 7/10

Scar in the Earth- Can people STOP changing around this file? It's perfect as it is. 9.5/10

Select Ship- This was surprisingly good. I love the 48th rolls and 24th jumpstreams. 8/10

Skyscraper in the East- I'd be lying if I said I didn't go stiff with an orgasm every time I played this file. 9/10

Tageri- Holy crap I can AA this now npv you are a master of un-bs'ing files. This was also megafun. 8.5/10

                        Deep Striker- Fun file. 8/10

Tougen Emaki- To be honest I never loved this file. It's simple and fun, but I probably won't be playing it much since it's so easy. 7/10

Twilight's Chapter Seven- Serious freeze abuse. Nice syncing and it's fun, but some parts are so saturated with freezes it gets a tad annoying. However it is a nice file, easy to follow and scoreboard-worthy. 7.5/10

Averaging my scores, I get about 7.75/10, which I feel is what this pack deserves. Granted, most of these files are solid, fun files, but they may not be totally competent of today's strict audience. Many people found this enjoyable though, and that's really all that matters to me.

with nageki i had to get rid of a lot of spots that could use minifreezes because before there was :minifreeze abuse: in a couple of spots and when i got rid of them other spots felt weird too, so i had to chang them around too
