i'll just post a review towards what i think would make the file more fun to play while being somewhat accurate. pretty much the same as rf except i'd let a few more things slide obviously



ps the file i sent isn't one of my best at all it's actually a file that's over a year and a half old rofl. i still find it really fun though. I wouldn't say it's better than npv's but it should still be cut because it repeats and becomes very tedious to play


and nightfirecat about the freezes they follow the melody with pitch relevancy (although they do tend to look a little messy)

I've only accepted one file out of nine in this entire batch so far, and that file is mine (for obvious reasons. Also keep it mind I don't go out and auto-accept any dump I step, lol). trumaestro's (or however) was the only other decent one, and that still could be a lot better IMO.

(Trumaestro) Blood for justice [***] - Not a bad file, however a few things bothered me: the beginning some patterns are a little messy and the freezes aren't necessary. Quads weren't placed well neither they were followed as triples earlier in the song. Some parts the 4th beats fall on 8th beats i'm not sure if there's a way to fix that. Other than that i won't get into technical details since it was pretty fun to play


Concertino in Blue - Thanks for crashing my sm


(Boredom) Deep Breath[*] - Quit out. Why did you put the main beat on 16th notes? Didn't follow the beginning piano exactly and the song is long and boring. Later on you start following invisible 16th (8th and 4th in this case) patterns.


(EnR) I <3 Voltage [***] - Wow really fun file. The beginning, though, doesnt have 64th notes take those out. Also the jacks could've been avoided to make it flow better. Fun AAA nonetheless.


Nanairopanda - Rebirth already did a better version


Tribe Attacker - Leadafro and necros already did a better version

no. PR is off on some spots, such as the jacks. some of the jack usage can be improved, too.
gets repetitive near the end.
check the sync on some spots because there's a few that don't seem right. i'm not going back to check though because you have other things to fix up
i'll have to agree that this definitely works better as a pad file, lol.
32nd jump jack thingies are really dumb.
some other things to check up on but whatever




Nanairopanda (Dorama)

I'll admit that I found this to be pretty fun. Still, though, it's pretty bad.
Doesn't flow very well; transitions from one part to another are kind of bad (light -> hard stuff)
Bad hold usage; it's hard to follow it and they're not too fun
Please don't step stuff that's barely audible and becomes inaudible with keytaps.
There's some stuff you missed, too.

pretty lame. have you heard of holds?
how about actually syncing the guitar correctly?
climax is stepped pretty lightly. get some knowledge of music as well.
plenty of opportuities for hands and stuff, and this has a lot more potential anyways.

This is also pretty lame. use holds. there are some technical inaccuracies as well.
Some of the layering was done well, but some of it was also done pretty badly.
Bring out what's to be paid attention to in the music by actually stepping them.

Eh...no, but it's still pretty decent.
The first 23 measures or so weren't really too fun or great.
m16- there should be a hold before the 12th hold as well.
There's a few technical inaccuracies; check them out on a lower rate.
Some stuff could be more PR (oh god i am a huge ****** with this concept).
The jacks you did use were kind of annoying. There were opportunities for more fun jacks elsewhere.
Recheck jump placement. Too lazy to go back and find out, but I'm pretty sure there were a few misused.

YNS (Yellow Note Syndrome)- obviously you don't know about offsetting. F11/F12.
Exited out. Not fun, really; you missed a lot of stuff, the PR is terrible.
Very inconsistent, and from what I played, it was very reptitive. I can't imagine how terrible the whole thing is.

Pretty fun file, but it still has a bunch of problems.
Try stepping the slide sound thingies at measure 9/10-ish. No idea if it's going to be good, though, but it sounds like it should be stepped. If you tried it, already, then leave it.
m27 could be hands.
m29 or whatever-m37 or whatever and anything like that- try stepping the guitar as holds?
m38-45 or w/e area- lots of technical errors here.

(Carla) Get Ready to Rokk [***] - Well this is different. You try to be very minimalist in your style of stepping, yet it delivers a simple yet fun experience. The mine tricks were pretty cool although i think some weren't really necessary. Pitch Relevancy was almost perfect throughout the song. Also good job on synching the ending, whoever you are. Never really heard of you to be honest lol.


(Carla) Storm [**] - I honestly don't know what to say about this. It's not a technical dump (with the exception of a few mistakes) but it's not all that interesting neither. ps good job on stepping one of the worst songs on the pump it up soundtrack rofl
