Or not doing this at all. I'm usually not one to complain about packs, but.....

RFpack, Stepmania Gym Project, others I won't mention. Too many big name packs in production right now. I think we're done with the need for new major packs until Summer or Fall 2008.

That and if there's really gonna be an FFR Community Pack, it'd need to be ran and judged by some FFR admins or some more official people. And seeing as how none of the FFR admins know what a good simfile is, its never gonna happen.

FFR isn't an SM community unlike ODI or SMG so FFR admins have nothing to do with it anyways.

True, but RFpack seems to be the big thing right now. There should be other stuff going on too.

Also, to answer jx's post, FFR isn't exclusively SM, but there's still a decent community of people here and they deserve to have a voice.

Lastly, I want mostly unreleased files. I'll still accept released files, but I'm going to judge them much more strictly.

Also, to answer your original questions, Nightfire, you need a cdtitle. We would like if you had your own graphics, but if you don't then we'll get some graphic artists to make some for you.

I can make some songs. Flip isn't taking full versions(so there went mother of god, euro freak, and deep breath)

So I'll try to step Mother of God, Euro Freak, and maybe Deep Breath.

I can more than likely finish Mother of God and Euro Freak. But since Deep Breath is 9 minutes I'm not sure about it. And spring break just ended for me D:

I don't have any graphics either. So I could use some =)

maybe just re-name it and make it a sort of mini-pack since people will most likely not want to play through 50+ files after everything that's been released

I'm guessing a nice 25-30 files would be nice. Nothing too big since so many packs have already come out.

Well damn...I would feel bad if I didnt help out with something that the FFR Folks where doing, but you guys will just have to wait before I can ship something out to ya (Im in the middle of 3 packs and a new job). In the meantime, search for "Call of the Ancients V2" in the sim database: It's my only good KB file.

No offense to anyone, but the last 2 - 3 packs that were made by lesser known / tallented simfile artists turned out really bad. CRPack ended up 100% killing SMGroove lmao. And Keyboard Ultimix probably wasn't too good either.


And going by the logic of this being an "RFpack 2 rejects pack," shouldn't you guys try to submit sims for RFpack 2 for the next few months and after the RFpack 2 is released, then do this? None of you know that your sims would get rejected for sure. And if they're decent, we're going to be giving you stuff to fix on the sims to make them more likely to be accepted. Something like that, if you listen to the reviews and suggestions, should make you guys better simfile artists to where you eventually wouldn't need an "RFpack 2 rejects pack"

As for me going with the idea of a "RFpack 2 rejects pack," when a file doesn't turn out as epic as I planned it to be (because maybe I would think some layered junk would work well when I listened to it but ended up really gay), I'll probably send it to this one if it's still good and fun.
