I still think that if Mikey were to play Stepmania, he wouldn't have trouble adapting. Like Reach said, he hasn't played it much and so we wouldn't know; however it seems that his FFR scores indicate that he wouldn't have much trouble with the transition either.

We can't make a fair judgement until he actually tries it.

buddy he has tried and did horrible. It must be that his comp or connection or some method he uses slows down the arrow speed. It's not only his max300 score but a few others he has mentioned that sucked on piss easy levels.

Yes, nobody that good is unknown.

First all, you can't beat alot of my scores if you tried lol, because I've AAA'd alot.

Second, someone who is unknown isn't exposed to the better players and harder stepfiles, so they don't have much competition, which makes you better.

And you don't just go *POOF* 'OMGZ OLOLO I AM TEH SKILLZ' this game takes either alot of practise, or alot of time to get very good :P

not nessicarily, songs like blur, BDNB, K8107, club, ice climber are on bemanistyle, thus, people can download them. I know quite a few people (net friends, real friends) that I go up and ask, "have you ever heard of Stepmania?" and some say, "yes, I'm prettyy good at it too". Then I ask, "well, what is your best record?". I've heard suff like B'ing Ice Climber(v2) on challenge, but then I ask, "have you heard of the site flashflashrevolution.com?" and my common answer is.... "no". FFR isn't really that large of a community, and it's a big world. You can never really know for sure.

P.S. - yeah I know some of you can probably beat "B on ice climber" but this is only the people I know.

And you just don't beat blur. Shit, arch0wl is one of the best and he can't even beat blur.

And i purposly made the jackhammers in ice climber for elite people only. The jackhammers are like at a speed of 800 arrows per minute. btw, thats faster than the jacks in K8107, payon, cynic....actually, its one of the fastest jackhammers ever. random neighbors arnt capable of these.

I didn't say there has to be, I said it could happen.

For example, I was introduced to SM before FFR, and heck, I'm decent at it. Not all that great, but still decent enough to beat songs like Cynic, Gravity, Caprice, and Flight of the Bumblebee.

ok thats total bullshit. What is the chance that they'd find specifically the hard songs? And they couldn't look it up according to difficulty cause most of the songs that are listed as super hard are actually pretty easy by our standards. So the chance that they'd find the 15/20 1337 songs? almost nothing.
