Then when you go to stepmania, you can't do that anymore, cause you'll start good whoring and fail eventually because you're timing isn't good enough.

No, like DDR....theres tons of 'ok' and 'good' players....but almost noone can come close to or match the skill of someone like yasu.

ddr has replayability like none other....sm gets boring, at least to me, i'm decent, but i cant play it for hours...btw reach there are no greats in ffr

Some people spend all their time on FFR and Sm and that is why they get good is becuase they practice, me on the other hand i like to play it in my spare time and just becuase i can't AAAA every song I play doesn't mean theres anything wrong with me.......

and its called getting better overtime. and you don't even have to play alot. my tips to getting good?

its kinda like working out. If you lift little weights all the time you will never get stronger, just gain more endurance.

If you play easy songs all the time on SM you only get more accurate, on slow songs.

If you lift big weights during an intense workout, your body adapts and will get stronger.

In sm, if you play hard, intense songs all the time, your fingers will adapt and will be able to move faster, and your eyes will get used to reading tons of arrows at once.

What ever, i will keep trying. I mean I play pretty hard songs on both SM and FFR, but i find FFR easier. I know that is what everybody keeps saying, but i mean shouldn't stepmania be easier because when you speed up the mod(if that what is called)the arrows are spaced apart more and they are easier to read, also the arrows are more on beat than in FFR. One song i keep doing(and trying to beat) is safari, but is hard to beat that cause when i go to hit three arrows at once it doesn't work. Ice Climber is a little easier than sfari for me, but i still can't finish it. But I KEEP TRYING!!!!

Gee, sorry Nima to make you mad or anything. I do play all of the songs, and have beaten nearly all of them, not particularly well on a few of them, but yes I m good, and yes I did brag to a few of my friends, i did full combo FF7 battle theme recently and showed it to my firends, and they were saying "darn you mark". I don't remember what my score was, but I think it was a low 1.2 million or high 1.1 million. I'm just not the competitive type for games, I only compete in instrumental type areas (i.e I am an excellent trumpet player, and learning how to play steel drums...) I can see people competeing for fun, but if you do something along the lines of online FFR type or any other online games to say "haha i am the best, you losers" (or something like that) i don't see any fun in that and it takes the fun away. Otherwise, have a pleasant day.

i don't play just to compete... I play for fun. Btw good job on your scores... but ya I like to compete too of course I compete in other stuff. I play piano too like your steel drum maybe that helps, track, etc.
