Actually I'd say that SM is easier. Not only do you have speed mods (help you see arrows and help timing window expand) but it's more precise, and clearer.

sm is way harder lol. Well....at first it is, because you have to be alot more persise. After awhile i guess ffr is a BIT harder cuz sometimes you get random misses for no reason.

i don't even have to try on ffr and i can get a highscore on half the hard songs.

Sure when you first start out I'd say they are both about equal. I mean it's obviously better to more accurate scores and stuff like that but timing can suck, etc.

At my stage FFR is much harder because of those stupid misses you were talking about. Things like no speed mods, bad timing, and the combo system makes FFR worse.

i agree with privateer... when you first start SM is harder... but the thing is if you can hit all those arrows mikey on ffr with mostly perfects with no fucking arrow mods (i don't know how the fuck you could read one minute waltz) you obviously read it cause you had like SUPER low boos and misses... if you could read that well and move your fingers that fast you should have no trouble with sm.

I don't see why anyone has to brag about being good. I'm pretty good at this game, but I don't like to brag about anything about it. I am not comparable to any of you guys, but I'm a decent player in my own right. People should just play the game for the fun of it, and not to brag to each other about how good they are. (Just my opinion, you may shoot me if I sound too moralistic or something )

Nima is correct. Mikey you have to be mistaken about your scores because otherwise you would be a liar (and I don't believe that's true). If you can get the OMW scores you do, Stepmania should be of equal to lesser difficulty.

keep in mind ive played sm like, 3 times in my life. i played like 5 minutes in school when the teacher went away, and im getting better. i can get like 20 greats on max300 now. and stepmania is ALOT LOT LOT LOT LOT harder. the arrow timing window thingies are so much smaller than ffr. sm is even harder than ddr. for me, at least.
