Carezza stepped by Kil is the oldest file I've personally seen do this 64th colour theory trick, was made back in 2004-ish, so it's been around for quite a bit. If done right can be really cool and fun, lots of files that I prefer have some form of colour theory in it. Adds character to an otherwise cookie cutter chart.
