i couldn't even figure out how to change my avatar after i uploaded it and i have to change my password to upload an avatar. this site is pretty balls in terms of usability.

there are definitely some iffy things with the site and forums currently. "beta" is in the URL after all. there's a section on the forums to report this stuff so they can make it better. sounds cool to me.

there should be a few buttons available after uploading an image. you also have to hit "save changes" or something like that near the bottom afterward.

and i have to change my password to upload an avatar.

technically you can enter your original password and still update your profile. but yeah, that's irksome and should be reported.

You don't have to change the password to update anything, just enter your current one again.

The site is still very much a work in progress; there's a thread where problems and suggestions could be reported.

thanks. While I can't change that, maybe the composition of yellow with white could be thrown up more so it doesn't hurt so much to look at.
