neither, well, maybe a little of the latter but not attention for the general reasons. Regardless, as I said before I posted this in song discussions and got no reply, thought I'd make a thread then, get my reply, get tips on stuff to work on if it really is just my inability, and then the thread would be locked and discarded. Now I'm gonna play ceteka's file on SM and build speed I guess.

No I don't, Rev Etude and Crowdpleaser are two FGO's that shouldn't be FGO's, they are stupid files, I'm for both being 13's or just Revo.

Also @TC and Dossar, I don't consider it high FGO because you guys haven't AAA'd or because it's patterns, it's just a file I'm extremely bad at, worse than 8 bit tour. I'd pull a better score on 8 bit tour than Rain anyday, but that's just me. It's a file that I'm particularly bad at. I was just wondering if it's just me who doesn't have this speed and it's moderate for the rest of the community yet tricky (which seems to be the case), or it really is that fast and awkward. It really is just me then, so I think it's SUBJECTIVELY a high FGO because I literally can't do anything in the file except the trills. Objectively, I'm really not good enough to say or determine, as you've seen by my apparent gross exaggeration of it's difficulty due to my lack of speed. That's why I came to ask you guys.

Lol crowdpleaser is not a 13. It can be PA'd and passed as easy as a 10, FCing and AAAing is a different story tho :P
Its a 12, but one thats impossible to judge where in the FGO zone it is.

I find it easier to hit the trills if I hit my keyboard harder

keep your keytaps at the same speed as the trills

I've heard Dossar say it before as well, but strictly due to the stupid AAA'ability of that part, 13 was an unofficial difficulty for files stepped stupidly impossible to AAA, any weird file that can't be AAA'd by normal playing falls into the bunch (like Part 4u v1) IMO, and I've heard Dossar say it before as well. Now that 13 is becoming a more official difficulty with songs that are actually stepped correctly, it's becoming harder to chose if a song really belongs there for being really that hard or is just stupid to PA.

I think basically everyone's score above mine acknowledging that they can't do Crowdpleaser's 64th trill part without overlay is grounds enough for it being a 13. My current 3 clean run would technically be rank 1 if overlay was not allowed.

To answer OP's question, you know it yourself.
If you spent less time on the forums talking about why a song is hard or not, whether it's difficulty 12 or 13, you might do better on the song you're talking about..

So go practice instead of whining

That would be weird if stuff thats just impossible to AAA made it significantly more difficultly rated. Would Crono Trigger be a 13 then? Just cuz of the like 5note jack in 3 frames or whatever it was. Even tho the rest is a clear 9?

Just so you know I play about 2-3 hours a day in general, and I rarely post on this forum compared to others. I'm posting here because I play nearly as much, if not more than I feel 98% of the community lets on (I don't know anyone who plays around 2-3 hours everyday, maybe lots do, but that's a lot of playing).
