I will try to explain this a little better.

First you load FFR.. At this point you pick a level and issue a challenge to either a player or an email address. You include a message and (if you want) the amount of credits that you wish to bet. You then play the level and hope you don't screw up. At the end of the level the challenge is entered into the database and sent to the "challenged" player. If the challenged player is on the system, they will see the challenge when they play FFR. If the challenged player is not part of FFR and you specify an email address, a special challenge code will be sent to them which they would have to enter when they play FFR if they want to respond to the challenge.
You are able to reject the challenge if you wish and you may have multiple challenges from multiple people.

Okay, Synth.

Are we finally seeing a revision of the score system where it's no longer Combo Combo Revolution? Because with challenges now, a miss at the beginning won't make a difference whereas a miss in the middle of the song will terminate your chances of victory.

Yeah I think the scoring shouldn't weigh so heavily on max combo. Maybe on how many arrows you actually got, instead of how many you got in a row.

Synth will probably set it up so that you can NOT challenge him, but he can challenge you, not that he ever would, but he might blaock all challenges from him just so that he doesn't have to deal with it.

And whether you are Reach or the newest n00b. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. The combo system compounds those mistakes and so most people want them cut back on.
